“Good morning, I am writing this review six months after the death of my beloved husband Jesus Manuel Reyes Jr. and almost two months, after his service on Sept 12 2020, When death comes no one is ready or prepared for it, but with God all things are possible to make it through to the other side. Mr Houston, his daughter, and his son and their entire staff was awesome. From the first night when Carla called me to say that they have picked up my husband to the final moments at the end of his out door Celebration of Life services at Branch Brook Park in Newark. The care and thought to detailing of my husbands service was beyond anything I had ever seen done in creating a Memorial / Celebration of life Services. I want to take this platform to say thank you Mr Houston for a Wonderful, Beautifully arranged service, for being so professional and yet so caring to make sure everything was done as I had requested, taking my jumbled thoughts through tears💭 and creating beauty. “Our family turned to Warner Wozniak Funeral Service in Wallington, NJ when our mother passed away. They had been wonderfully supportive in 2012 after our father’s death, and they have always enjoyed an exceptional reputation in our community. Brian Warner was everything you’d hope for in a Funeral Director, going far beyond our expectations. He was warm, kind, professional, respectful and never said no to our many requests. His facility is modern and welcoming with a bright interior. The viewing room is open, peaceful, clean and comfortable. Brian took charge of every detail, requiring nothing of us but always seeking our approval. In addition to what you would expect, (i.e. the obituary, coordination with church and cemetery, remembrance cards, thank you notes, death certificates, etc.), Brian went above and beyond in a number of ways. He stepped in on short notice to arrange a live video stream from the funeral when the church could not. So many friends and relatives have sent thanks that they could join us virtually. He also created a moving video tribute to our mother using not only the photos we gave him, but many others that he had on file from our father’s tribute in 2012. Our mother looked beautiful at the visitation and we’ll always remember her that way. Throughout, Brian and his team couldn’t do enough for us. “My mom passed away on Apr 18th 2020 of old age in my house. Hospice called the funeral home at 5:00 A.M and shortly after I received a call from Frank, the owner. He showed compassion in the way he handled the call. He was not able to get someone due to Covid to retrieve the body and came himself. My mom was very fragile, I asked him to handle her with care which he did. He was extremely compassionate with my sister and I. He went above and beyond, he was able to secure us a priest and we were able to have a private and intimate viewing. Because we are a large family, he was able to accomodate 6 of my mom's children, four of our in-laws and her grandchildren that chose to attend. He also worked with the cemetery, they allowed my 2 sisters and I into the museleam for the final service with the priest, we did the service at the entrance, of the museleam, the procession of the family cars were able to double park and open their windows to participate. Under the covid circumstances, I could not have asked for better service. Frank was amazing and made a very difficult situation as smooth and comfortable as possible for all of us. I will forever be grateful to Frank for the way he handle everything and the memories engraved in my mind and heart of that day. Thank you and God bless you.”

“These folks are so helpful. They went above and beyond to help me, even when there was nothing in it for them. My Google phone stopped taking a charge, so I brought it in to this local store to see how to get it fixed. In the end I had to send the phone to Google: a process that would take 10 days. I really need my phone, so I was distressed about what to do. These folks rummaged around and found a phone they could loan me for 10 days! There was no new sale in it for them. They just took care of me. Can't say how much that loner saved me. This is an authorized retailer: not the cellphone company's own store. I don't know that I'd get such good customer service at an actual cellphone company store. (Just my opinion.)”

“Robert and his staff at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home did an exceptional job with my grandmother’s funeral this past weekend. After visiting three other funeral homes, we were sold on the professionalism of Robert’s and his willingness to provide us with the most honorable and respectful service. Facilities: Although we did not have a viewing at the funeral home, I would highly suggest that you consider Evergreen as one of your top choices when considering funeral pre-planning. Once you enter into the clean and modern facility, you will be in awe at the attention to detail that the facility has. There are no stairs and there is plenty of parking. A picture of Robert’s late father adorns the foyer. Respect towards family is evident from the first moment you enter Evergreen. Shop around and you will see what I mean with the quality of the facilities. Staff: Robert and his staff are all highly professional in the manner in which they prepared our grandmother, all the way through the ceremony at the cemetery. Robert does the embalming for the facility, for which he did an excellent job. Communication: Every time we tried to meet with Robert to finalize the details of the funeral, he was readily available at OUR leisure. I think this is a very important trait as a funeral home, as we were out running errands in preparation for the burial and did not think to make appointments. In short, whenever we were ready, he was ready. Robert was in contact with our parish priest and was early in arriving to the church for the funeral ceremony. Cost: Even though the facility is barely 5 years old, the final cost of the services rendered by Evergreen were extremely competitive with the three other funeral homes that we visited. Overall: Robert did everything in his power to ensure that our grandmother was given a respectful and honorable funeral. We thank Robert and wish him continued success.”
