“Sedge is such a beautiful place especially on a great weather day. Water always is very clean and clear. Make sure you get one of the maps and try to plan for wind and tide. Be prepared to paddle hard because the tidal currents are very strong. Ospreys are everywhere but try to see the falcons at their raised igloo stand.”

“Love the view of Barnegat Bay from this location. Take my dog there regularly to walk out on the pier then down Vessel Rd to enjoy the Bay view. In warmer weather people crab and fish from the pier. Small little beach area at low tide but not easy to get to. No steps, probably because it's not meant to be a beach area, but my dog and I climb down anyway. On a clear day you can see Barnaget Light and the inlet. Nice scenic stop to clear your mind.”

“Great park for nature walks! Pet friendly- just beware of ticks. Definitely recommend not bringing your dogs unless they’re on a good flea and tick treatment. Fitness trails, boardwalk trails, and play areas for children. We will definitely be returning.”
