It has been an Ivy League experience right here in Middletown. Their expertise, knowledge and professionalism, their high expectations and what they accomplish with their students is truly noteworthy. The experiences they offer their students both globally and locally, from performances in Europe and Carnegie Hall, to retirement homes and cancer research fundraisers, speak to the rewards and obligations in sharing their talents. As my daughter is now applying to college music programs, their guidance, support, and preparation for this challenging process has diffused anxiety for all. “Our son has been going to Espin for one year. He also attended last summer. He still talks about the fun summer that he had. When he first started, we noticed the growth in language and behavior within a few weeks. It was amazing to see! The school is clean, staff are very helpful and caring. His class is small, about 10 kids in the classroom. His teachers care a lot about his growth and well-being. We receive daily pictures of him through the app which is so awesome! “I admit that we were little bit skeptical when we were browsing on the net for day care for my son from a reason that It was not a new building and looked little outdated. But we were positively surprised from the very first step we took in this establishment with warm welcome and the energy we receive from every team member. Oh boy we were wrong. We love it! But the most important is that my son loves it! It was new experience for him and he had hard time on the start as most of the kids, but everyone took effort for my son to overcome this adaptation period. Now he enjoys it and we are so happy!”

“I enrolled my daughter at the Apple Montessori in Warren because I liked the proximity to my work and the accessibility with the WatchMeGrow and Tadpoles app. She started at 4 months and now, 10 months later, loves going to daycare and seeing all her teachers and baby friends. As a first time mom, I wasn't sure what to expect and had heard some horror stories from other moms about sending their children to daycare but I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the transition was and how quickly my daughter adapted to the new setting. We also love all the updates to the school and are excited to watch our daughter grow in the Apple Montessori community. The teachers have been amazing at caring for my daughter and making sure her needs are met but also individualizing her care and learning. They're very interactive and engaging and happy to collaborate on ways to promote her growth and development. I did read a review about the turnover and will say that has been true in our experience, as well, but don't let that deter you from choosing Apple Montessori. The teachers, old and new, provide consistent and focused care regardless of change and I have not witnessed any gaps or deficits in my daughter's care. The only downside we've experienced is the constant exposure to illness which I think comes with any daycare setting, especially for children as young as my daughter. It's been challenging arranging alternative care when my husband and I both work full-time and are already paying full-time tuition. So I would caution parents that might already be financially strained or not have a strong backup plan to consider this. Although this can happen at any daycare, which is why I'm still giving Apple Montessori in Warren 5 stars!”

The staff help every child grow on all levels; emotionally, educationally and socially. Every child knows he/she is loved, cared for and safe when he/she walks into the school. The owner has put so much time and effort into creating a fun learning atmosphere. This school also has so much potential to expand. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this school is.”

I guarantee there will be many more to follow. His unique approach to music as a whole is fun, refreshing and enlightening all at once and you’ll feel at ease as he guides you through the world of guitar playing. I played the piano and violin back in grade school (many moons ago!), so I’ve had my fair share of music lessons over the years. While my instructors were always highly skilled, gifted musicians, they were not always necessarily good teachers. In fact, I vividly remember finding the style and methodology of some of the instructors to be dull, tedious and off-putting in its flatness. With John, however, it’s the complete opposite experience—and that’s what makes him so exceptional. The minute you sit down with him, you’ll see that he’s not just a brilliantly talented musician. He’s also a wonderful teacher. Any nervousness or uncertainty you may have initially is diffused by his patience, sense of humor and down-to-earth teaching style. In a nutshell, he’ll make you see and enjoy music in a whole new light. It’s impossible to put into words how incredibly rewarding that experience is.
