“We were purchasing a house and we had to stay with family while waiting for closing and renovations, and had no where for our cats to go. After all our options had ran out on housing them, we were left with having to take them to the Camden animal control, where, more than likely, they would be put down. On the way to Camden, Lakeside called and said the had space for Prince and Charming. They literally saved our cats lives. The cats were there 3 months, and they were well taken care of. An older couple was in the waiting room with us on the first day there. My wife and I had been crying in the car with the cats for the last couple of hours and you could tell. “I can't praise this hospital enough. Unfortunately, I've been here a lot with emergencies. My cat came after she got fixed, stayed overnight and made a full recovery. My ferret had severe digestive issues, had to have surgery and made a full recovery. And a few weeks ago, our dog suddenly went into liver failure. She was very young and it was a strange case. Unfortunately she didn't make it through. She had to stay overnight for a few days before we made the heartbreaking decision to put her to sleep. The doctors, techs and staff really went above and beyond for me and my dog. I would be on the phone with them several times a day, when I came to visit and to put her to sleep, I could tell that the techs took extra special care of her. I am so grateful that she had that special care in her last days because she was so incredibly attached to me and I couldn't be there with her like they could. The doctors were so knowledgeable and would talk to me any time I asked for them. They really did everything they could for her and kept me informed every step of the way. I am confident that they had my dog's best interest at heart and nothing else. Words can't express how thankful I am for everything everyone did.”
