Dr. Sarah Popek

Dr Popek is the definition of a highly skilled, caring, and dedicated health care professional. I recently underwent colon resection surgery. During the entire process Dr Popek kept me informed and involved in all matters. She is intelligent, to the point, and has a great sense of humor. Her ( and her team) surgical skills are excellent. I was in and out of the hospital in two days with minimal discomfort. Cannot thank her enough....highly recommend!!!

Dr. Popek has been a blessing she is very kind, compassionate, and caring. I was sent to Dr. Popek for a surgical consult she has gone above and beyond. I've suffered with Severe Chrons disease for quite sometime and have not been able to get in remission, during my first consult Dr. Popek referred me to see one of the best for Chrons out in San Diego, I was approved immediately. I've seen Dr. Popek for a couple of things now, all to do with problems from my chrons disease and I'm sure I will have to see her for more work in the future. But because of her, kind, caring compassionate bed side manners, it has made it much easier to face some of the things I am facing. She is an outstanding doctor. My family and I thank God everyday for her. Thank you Dr. Sarah Popek!

Not even exaggerating, I owe my life to this doctor. She performed an emergency colectomy on me under horrible circumstances, but she did a perfect job. She watched over me intently for the next year while I healed enough to have a J-Pouch created. She did a total of three surgeries on me and every single one of them went well. She is calm, reassuring even under intense pressure, and capable of life-saving action without a doubt. I am now two years post-colectomy and I have a perfect J-Pouch that has made my life so much easier. The woman is a wonder. Thank you, Dr. Popek!
