We decided to replace our cellular shade with plantation shutters and get estimates from 5 different companies in the Las Cruces/El Paso area. Melissa and Max came in with a competitive estimate and far and away the most professional presentation. We ordered one set, to see if we wanted to go ahead and do the rest of the windows and once we saw how fabulous their shutters were, immediately said let's go for the remaining windows. They are an incredibly efficient couple who work so harmoniously together - it was a pleasure having them in our home. Melissa even printed out directions for re-installing the cellular shades in the event that we are able to find someone to purchase them or simply want to donate them. I can't say enough good things about this company and this couple. My recommendation to anyone thinking about window treatments, just call them, save yourself the time getting other estimates - you won't be disappointed. And if you pay cash, they will give you a 3% discount to compensate for their cost of processing a change sale.

I found Desert Shades Window Blinds & Shutters online. My husband & I moved from Washington state to Las Cruces & just built our new home. We wanted textured roller shades that were easy to clean & Melissa brought several samples for us to choose. The ordering/installing process was pretty quick & they did a very nice job of installing them which my husband was happy of not having to do.:) I would highly recommend them for window treatments!

We needed solar/blackout shades in one of our rooms. We found Desert shades online and gave them a call. They responded quickly, and were able to come give us an estimate, and description of their products. We were able to pick the type and color of our shades, and they were ordered promptly. Easily within the timeframe stated, they were ready to install, which took next to no time at all! My wife and I were very pleased with the product and the whole process. After installing one of the shades, they noticed a very small defect, (we would never have noticed), and ordered a new shade which is now installed in our room! They were very professional, courteous and efficient throughout the entire process. We will use them in the future as the needs arise.
