“No one wants to be here for service. However, every staff member I have interacted with has been nothing but friendly and helpful. Came in to the ER and the first person we talked to was Susan Upright and she was friendly and super helpful. The ER was crowded but it appeared that she and the staff were doing what they could to accommodate everyone in the ER to the best of their abilities. The ER staff member Cody Yates was another standout! Very helpful and encouraging. He answered questions and assisted in moving me around since I had limited mobility. After that, I saw many different staff members. All helpful. All friendly. Thank you Albany Med for doing a great job.”

“Our 5 yr old son had a procedure here about a month ago and I have to say that nearly all the staff were wonderful. The anesthesiologists, residents, nurses and Dr. Carpenter we’re all so nice and made us feel a lot less stressed throughout the time we were there. It’s scary when your kid has a surgical procedure but I can’t say enough great things about the pediatric team here. Thank you!”

“I actually can't believe all of these bad reviews. I live in Syracuse and have been to every ER in the four hospitals there. Not only is the wait time ridiculously long in every hospital, the nurses, doctors and other staff can be heard laughing and joking around while people wait both in the waiting room and in the ER beds. My son was rushed to Albany's ER. His condition was very serious, so he got right in. I thought the staff was very attentive and very helpful whenever I had a question or my son needed help. I arrived at about 10 p.m. and spent the night there. I wish the chair in the room was more comfortable as I didn't get any sleep, but I have no complaints about the nurses or doctors.”

“Dan and his team do an amazing job with this shop. Rachel has been cutting my hair for over four years. She does a really good job with fading and the cuts always looks great. And she’s also been cutting my kid’s hair since he was one year old! She’s very gentle and sweet with him. Rachel is super friendly and remembers conversations we’ve had months later.
