“We had our wedding at the Altamont Manor on June 17th, 2023 and it was perfect! It’s such a beautiful venue. Harvey, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable in what he does. I will say it felt a little crowded given that we had about 125 guests, although we were anticipating less people. But it was beautiful and I wouldn’t change a thing!”

“Despite visiting Albany many times in the last few years, this was the first time I had visited The Spinning Room - and I absolutely loved it!! I went about 45 mins before closing and didn't feel at all rushed or like I was being pushed out of the shop; the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and they had actually engaging conversation about what type of craft I do, yarns I use, what I make, etc. It is such a homey feeling shop and despite preparing for the upcoming Rhinebeck festival, they were fully stocked! I highly suggest checking out this sweet yarn shop every time you get the chance!!”
