The food is worth the price. Every time I come to Albany I will stop here. Delicious food, very clean and friendly. I've been asked to recommend dishes. I recommend everything! The combination dishes are a great way to sample your first time there. The sushi and rolls are fresh and the best I've ever had. I've never been disappointed on deliveries or in the restaurant. My only complaint is that I have moved north and out of delivery range. I need to get to Albany more.”

“We have use the college advisor twice, and both of our kids have gotten into their first choice of colleges. The professionalism and warm support of our kids has been amazing! It takes the stress off of the parents just about completely. I think the kids really liked working independently with the staff at college advisor, it makes them feel like an adult responsible for their own future, which they are. College advisor does a very good job of helping students select reasonable colleges to apply to and managing expectations appropriately for all concerned. There ethical and kind! Everyone at B. Lodge & Co. Clothing Store was helpful, warm and welcoming. The person that assisted me knew exactly where to find what I needed, and also had patience with my questions. The gentleman at the cashier was incredibly nice while ringing customers out, and one of the other ladies who works in the store even helped a lady out with her bags since she was using a cane. I highly recommend this store.”

“This was a splurge for us to take the all the kids from 1 to 14, but it was enjoyed by all. In preparation for the visit we walked through the process of making the bear including the add-ons and clothing and accessories. I gave each kid a budget so they could make trade-offs between adding something to the inside of the bear or the outside. One kid chose a very cool sound, recorded it multiple times to get it just right, and had it inserted only to find out the sound was very quiet. He was disappointed with that since he used some of his budgeted money and didn't get what he was expecting. Tip: Test out the sound when they put it on the recording device before its inserted. Giving a budget avoided the inevitable begging at every point along the way. And they pick out the items that are really meaningful to them. Overall a great (although pricey) experience.”

“This was my first experience at Shaker Violin. Steve was exceedingly generous and helpful and repaired my father’s cello. It was immediately obvious that Steve is very passionate about his work and took time to explain the reason he picked a certain method and tools for the repair to be done. As a bonus Steve took interest in a possible fix for cracks in my classical guitar and invited my to bring the instrument over. After assessing the nature of the crack I agreed with his suggestion to stabilize the crack. Needless to say I highly recommend Steve for any violin/cello repair. He far exceeded my expectations! Thank you again Steve.”
