“I met Craig from DC Chimney Services through a recommendation from a real estate agent to get a chimney inspection. After his inspection, he made the recommendations and got the chimney swept, chimney crown repaired and sealed. Not only I appreciate his knowledge, but he is a quick, sincere worker. He is the kind of person that not only performs the requested work but pays attention to what else might need attention and his work is reasonably priced. You can tell he cares about the quality of his work, and about us as well. Later in the spring I contracted Craig for pressure washing the house. Also, for cutting about 8-10 trees in the front yard and removing the stumps. We decided to apply mulch in the area and definitely love how the front of house looks now. Closer to summer I contracted Craig for replacing the window shutters in the house, and more tree work clearing the backyard. About 8-10 dead trees were removed, along with vines, removing leaves, trimming the good trees, and applying mulch. It made the house look so different. This was the last work (as of this review) that I had contracted, and I definitely recommend his company.”

“I have been using Family Oil for a number of years now after leaving Mar-Gas for many reasons and have been very happy with them. They are very friendly, return your calls in a timely manner and answer any questions you have. Last year my furnace stopped running at about 11:30PM in the dead of winter, I called the emergency number and left my name and number, I got a call from Chris about 10 minutes later telling me he was just up the road and would be there right away. When he arrived he went straight to work and determined that it was a faulty burner nozzle which he replaced straight away he even left me a spare nozzle just in case. When all was said and done he charged me what I would consider a very, very reasonable price which was a pleasant surprise to me after dealing with companies like Mar-Gas. This is a family owned company and I can't say enough nice things about them. No matter who I have spoken to be it Lisa, Chris or the technicians who come to service the furnace they are all polite, friendly answer any questions you might have and charge fair and reasonable prices. In a day and age where the bottom line comes before the customer with most companies it's nice to see a company that still has old fashion values and where customer service still means something. So if you're tired of getting the round around and poor customer service from other oil supply companies I would highly recommend Family Oil. I have never been disappointed and I don't think you will be either.”

“My Mom came home yesterday after almost a month of recovery here! She had her second hip surgery, and I want to say how pleased I was with St. Peter's Rehab. Yes, they need more aides and the nursing staff I am sure is working many hours overtime, however, I was there often and was genuinely happy with the care, cleaning schedule and food service. The rehab portions of her stay were fantastic, and whenever I called with a question, they were always so kind and helpful. I was not concerned about her safety there at all. In addition, music is always playing in the hallways and that creates a soothing atmosphere for residents and staff. This is a great place for a short term rehab hospital. My husband Ed and I are quite thankful.”
