“My soon to be 87 yr old aunt moved to Blocher Homes last May after having lived independently her entire adult life. Obviously,no one likes to gives up their independence,but Blocher proved to be the perfect solution. My aunt is very happy there and has made the adjustment with ease. I have never seen a facility that caters to the assisted living as nice as Blocher. The individual rooms are spacious,there is always some kind of activity going on,and many friendships have been made. The staff is wonderful. It is not just like a home,it is a home,and I enjoy my twice weekly visits. Why Beechwood feels the need to close Blocher is very vague to me. There are plenty of people in their so-called “golden years” who are not ready for skilled nursing,yet need a little assist to maintain a modicum of Independence. If Blocher Homes was properly marketed,I am sure there would be so many interested people,there would be a waiting list. I think Beechwood is deliberately sabotaging Blocher by creating a situation to lose money so it can justify selling Blocher and moving its residents way out to Beechwood and get rid of union employees at the same time. And Beechwood is supposed to be a faith-based organization. More like a bad faith operation.”

“Dr. Alabiso did a wonderful, very fair and thorough evaluation for our custody evaluation case. He spent so much time making sure he got all of the facts from all sides and wrote up a very comprehensive report for the court system. (It's a shame the court system failed, but that was on no part on behalf of Dr. Alabiso.) He and all of his staff treated each of us with a lot sensitivity and respect and was able to keep control of even the most difficult and sensitive dynamic relationships. So now I had an issue with my back on a Friday, they unfortunately couldn't get me in that day but did first thing the next morning. I was greeted warmly and taken right back to the room. Dr. Jess came in and asked me a bunch of question then looked me over and then began adjusting me!!! What an amazing thing she does!!! I was immediately relieved of the pain I was feeling!!!! “Dr. Sindoni is excellent! Highly recommend! He saw me during the COVID pandemic to remove an infected root canal tooth ... it was urgent that I get it taken care of and his staff made me feel very safe and comfortable. The procedure was quick and relatively easy. Tooth extraction is never fun but they made it as pain free and simple as possible! My recovery has been great with very little discomfort. I’ll definitely be seeing him again if I need any other oral surgeries and I will happily send my friends and family there. :)”

Have never had a problem aside from sometimes having to schedule months out but it's my own fault for calling a busy specialist last minute. They do their best to accommodate everyone.”
