Chestnut Ridge Park Casino

Had great time sledding with my twins! Park rangers were friendly and helpful. The Casino has a small Cafe in it which was nice to grab a quick bite for lunch. Restrooms in Casino building were clean and lots of stalls. Overall very nice winter visit to "The Ridge"!

We ha e always loved Chestnut Ridge, and feel very lucky to live nearby. But the addition of the new playground has truly taken this beautiful park to a completely new level. It is an absolutely wonderful playground for our kids! There are such innovative ideas put into play here, particularly the new merry-go-round! The kids seem to absolutely love it! And the musical additions, as well as the Braille clock at the entrance....as a mother of a child with different abilities I am so grateful that the vreators have considered all of our children, and inclusive is clearly so incorporated. Props to all involved, and thank you for maintaining and upgrading our beautiful space!

Very clean. There are nice bathrooms and playground structures all over the place. During the winter it is a fun place to sled.

Always a nice place to stop especially on a bike ride. Great views no matter what time of year, and the restrooms are always clean and functioning. I also appreciate the indoor water fountain that accommodates reusable bottles.

The park has come back from the decrepit condition of a few decades ago. New benches, updated and painted pavilions make it look respectable again.
There were only a few handfuls of people on a Thursday afternoon but 80° and a nice breeze made it a great way to spend the afternoon! The new café and a bright sun added to the experience.
It would be nice if the county to put some activities that would bring more people to the casino.
