  I left Mark Twain in 1960 I loved that school better than HS I keep thinking about it and the GREAT times I had there,Would love to have a time machine just to go back. I lived in Coney Island since 1953 to 1960 In 1963 I JOINED the service trained at NAB Coronado in 1964 with UDT/SEALS and in Jan was shipped over to Vietnam(That was something I will never forget) To this day I always pass that school and would love to go inside to look around someday. How can I do that? Well that's enough about me hang loose and God bless.

  I am a 8th grade student in Mark Twain and through all the years i been here i just been amazing and the teacher's i had are very kind to me and always talk to me about the potential i have but im lazy and kept my grades at a pretty alright grade in 6th and 7th then going higher lol.But this year im sure i wont be lazy.

  When I got into this school, it was kind of like winning the lottery! My sister, Elizabeth Black, is in this school (7th grade) and just by listening to her stories, I know that I will love it there. I'm very excited, I'm starting Mark Twain in 2 months. According to my family, most kids there are nice, so I will have a lot of friends.

  I am currently a student in 6k, and love this school. The teachers are kind, resourceful, and helpful. However, the school food is very sub-par, and would reccomend to bring your own lunch. I also would not use the bathrooms, as they are always dirty and unsanitary. Otherwise, I have nothing else negative about the school. The library is always great for studying, reading, or reasearching.

  I highly recommend going to this school. I am currently a sixth grader and I know I will be prepared for 7th grade to the maximum. The teachers help in anyway possible and the students are the best of the best. This school is HANDS DOWN my favorite place to spend my week at. I wake up in the morning feeling happy to go to school. If I am not feeling well, it upsets me that I have to miss school. If you are in 5th grade and are looking for a good school, go to the best school ever, MARK TWAIN!!!

  Everything here is HUGE! I love the food here but they have me COLD pizza. The drinks are my favorite. Mark Twain is a great middle school and my experience here was wonderful. I would just recommend if the staff could let the kids watch a movie while they wait. Waiting is the worst part about life. GIVE A CHEER TO MARK TWAIN!!!
