I cannot say enough good things about Tammy! I am so grateful that I found her and she has helped me so much! I started out as a beginner and she has been patient and encouraging as well as incredibly knowledgeable and I cannot believe how much I have improved during our time together. I’m excited to see how far I’ll go with Tammy guiding me, she encouraged me to do my first recital and now I can wait for my next one! If you are looking for a professional and amazing teacher, look no further!!

Ms. Scheffer is a trained performer as well as a
vocal teacher, which I think is an extra benefit. I've seen
her perform with her band and she's very talented.
As a teacher, she's experienced and conscientious,
and she helps her students to improve. Her rates are
reasonable, which can make a difference.
Also, she holds recitals twice a year in Manhattan where
students can perform before invited friends or family. Having
been in two of her recitals, I think it really helps to apply what
you've learned. It can be fun too (despite a little stress).
