“This store is the messiest store I have ever seen in my life, yes, they have the best deals (hens the 4 star) I go there a lot because no one can compete with their shoe selection and their prices, the biggest issue I have is that you can find a shoe you love and it fits you and then you can't find the other pair but over all they have a huge selection of pretty much everything, you just have to come with enough time to find it. And talking about searching for things, you have to come with patience, they have 16 registers and only 4-5 are working, and the line ALWAYS stretches out of the boundaries. The workers are not a lit of help but if I would have worked in a store like this trying to keep up with the mess, I wouldn't be either, it must be extremely frustrating. Bottom line, if you never went there, you should. Practice your search and patience abilities ????”

“Edit: The stuff is just excellent. One of the best I've ever experienced in any other store. They deserve 5*. But someone needs to deal with the confusion of the opening hours. I'd love to give more starts, because once I was there it was great customer service provided for me. But its Friday night 6 pm when I come to the store and it's closed to the public because of the game where it is absolutely nowhere any explanation sign about it. Especially when here it say's its open till 7pm. And for a brief moment one person spoke to me from the inside and said they are not even allowed to come outside and explain what is happening. Not OK service when I'm planning to spend obviously not small money in there. Very upsetting especially before holidays”

“A great bakery tucked away in Carroll Gardens. They have a large assortment of cookies and baked goods, they have amazing and beautiful cakes both large and small. We got a selection of cannolis and tarts and cookies and small pastry items and each one was better than the next. Chocolate hazelnut mousse cake and their Napoleon were the highlights for me, but again, it was all tasty. There are many good bakeries in the area and this deserves inclusion in that list.”

“I go to Lara for my brows (groom and tint) and last week I also got a lash lift and tint for the first time. Wow do I love the results. My lashes have a great curl and are super dark and shiny, and they make my eyes POP. I look like I'm wearing mascara -- someone even asked if I had extensions. But I'm not, which means no raccoon eyes and no annoying removal. I'm so happy. Go visit Lara and let her make you happy and gorgeous, too. She's meticulous and talented and a ton of fun to chat with.”

“Good neighborhood diner in the Carroll Gardens/Cobble Hill area. This one seems to be way busier than the others on smith street. On weekends there is usually a wait to get a table, especially since it’s pretty small in there. They have some great soups. They’re gyros are also pretty good too. When I go I usually sit at the counter and I always get excellent service.”
