“The office is comfortable. Homey, even. The decor is perfect. The people are friendly. I did not even end up purchasing the hearing aids (yet), but it didn't matter. The staff was very accommodating at all times. My appointments began promptly. Dr. Pollack is very knowledgeable and you can feel that she has your best interest at heart at every step. The testing that she recommended was always appropriate. She spent as much time as I needed explaining my situation and her recommendations. I certainly would recommend this practice to others. If you are in traveling distance to this office, why go anywhere else?”

“Let me explain my rating at length: the food here isn't gourmet quality but it can be much better than the typical neighborhood Chinese fast-food joint if you know what to do: specifically, always order curry for your sauce, as this comes from a store-bought container and not something they whip up themselves: thus ensuring great taste that rivals authentic Indo-Pak fare! Plus, add one or two packets of soy sauce with heaps of the chili oil hot sauce on the table (in the condiment caddy) to their hot and sour soup. Their egg drop soup is fine as-is, along with their shrimp toast, though this can be a bit over-fried, often (but at least it's not five bucks or more like at most places!)...but the prices are good, and sometimes the lady's lovely daughters (yes, both of them!) are on hand to provide, shall we say, a nice ambience...!”

“I dropped by as a walk-in needing a haircut and a beard trim. The place seemed to be popular, and was busy even though it was mid-day on a weekday. I expected to wait, but Billy was able to get me in right away. Billy mentioned that he doesn’t cut straight hair very often, which makes sense since I was the only white guy in the shop. Although this may have given rise to some reservations since straight hair isn’t his specialty, it turned out that I was in excellent hands. Billy did a great job. He took his time, asked plenty of questions, and cut my hair with more care than any barber I’ve ever gone to. It’s clear that Billy, who has been cutting hair for over two decades, loves his job. He’s great at it. He’s also a good conversationalist, and I enjoyed chatting with him and the other customers. The shop has a great neighborhood vibe. I am happy to say that I have found my new barber.”
