“Our 7 year old son has been taking lessons here for a year now, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. He spent the first few months doing a survey of different instruments and then settled on the keyboard. He LOVES it. The lessons are fun and well structured — he looks forward to going every week. And because he’s playing ACTUAL songs that he loves, he practices (and shows off) constantly. Less than a year in he was playing and singing Let it Be, Yesterday, and other songs start to finish — not only at home, but also on pianos at friends’ houses and at school! Instead of Twinkle Twinkle or Hot Cross Buns (which I was learning at his age), he’s learning music theory and how to read chord professions, and joining a rock band. His instructor Bradley (who is amazing) has also been teaching him songs from his favorite video games. I wish I could give School of Rock 100 stars. It rocks that hard.”

“Love this school , my daughter Tiana has always struggled in school w her grades . She just didn't like school . Since my girl started Hastings she loves loves going to school. She is in the criminal justice program and She's truly interested in learning. Not only that she amazes me with how much she actually remembers . She talks about it all the time .. This place is Like a God sent !!!!! she went from cutting school with all failing grades to a 98% average .. Thank u to all you amazing teachers and staff at Hastings . My baby finally feels like she belongs somewhere. I finally met the staff the other day. ( I live in Florida ) and one of the women said to me she has a lot of mothers here to take care of her and that made me feel amazing knowing my girl has such a strong support team .... He really took his time with my son teaching him how to learn and use the controller. “My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our BoatClass experience. I learned the basics about driving a boat, the proper boating etiquette so as not to disturb other boaters, and tips on how to dock the boat. Chris, the captain, was amazing. He was calm and patient and made us feel comfortable driving at our own speed. He taught us how to read the instruments, what to look out for, and how to feel the motion of the boat to determine the behavior of the wind and currents. I also liked that we were a small group so those who wanted to drive, each got plenty of time to do so. Even though my mother didn't want to drive, she enjoyed cruising. It was a great day for boating. This was a different kind of experience for myself and my out of town guests. We had so much fun. Thank you”
