Visiting my friend who lives in Long Beach, we had to stop by this spot. We were worried they didn’t have pizza, but just ask and they were happy to make it. One of the best pizzas I’ve had since moving to nyc, and worth every penny. Great portion size, amazing cheese, sauce and dough. There’s no doubt the next time I come visit, we’ll be stopping by Sorrento’s.

Constant flow of orders, walk-in’s & pick-ups, I never mind waiting for mine because I know the amazing bites of flavor to come! Walk in comfy, family style eatery, classic tunes and again, genuine Italian feel. Place nailed it!

One of our favorite Italian delis and pizza places, which burned down a while back. They just reopened at this new address 2 weeks ago. Their meats and deli selections are superb. My wife and I shared a margherita pizza which was excellent for an electric oven pizza. The crust is crispy and chewy in just the right places. Great sweet sauce with fresh mozzarella and large basil leaves. The selection of steaks and chops is high end. They will be reopening their original location on Park Ave some time in 2022, which featured a wood burning oven that produced a larger oval and slightly thicker crust pizza that had that bit of extra flavor from the wood fire. Most people won't notice the difference and it's worth the ride for their 17" round pie. Google maps still only shows their old location and lists it as temporarily closed. If you click through to their website you will find the new address. The current shop is much smaller with only 1 or 2 small tables, so you may want to consider take out. We got lucky today and got a seat. The owners are friendly and enthusiastic and you can tell they truly love what they do. Highly recommended.

Knocked my socks off! Easiest 5 star I have ever given in my whole life. Steve is a beast! He brought us out their signature pizza and it was the best pizza I’ve had in my whole life! Great atmosphere, wonderful patio area and the large pie fed all 5 of us easily. Wow wow wow

We stoped in yesterday to get food for a special meal to bring to my parents after not seeing them since before the pandemic started in March, and Sorrento’s did not disappoint!

Terrence took care of us for almost an hour picking out + cutting meats and cheeses for our feast and showing us the best ways we could prepare + serve the cuts of aged filet mignon for the best flavor possible.

It is always fun to see someone so passionate about what they do, no matter what it is, and Terrence made a trip to the butcher pretty special with the way he treated us.

We had mentioned to him that we were supposed to be in Italy this week for an annual music festival, so we were trying to recreate that experience, and Terrence’s hospitality (and the amazing food!) transported us right back to Sardenga.

I hadn’t been to Sorrento’s for a good 8-10 years since I moved out of LB, and I’m so glad they are still there! I also learned they are under new ownership since last year, and they still have amazing, helpful, friendly service and incredible food that makes the 40 min trip from Queens well worth it for future charcuterie hauls 🤣

They have great quality imported and fresh food (we got house made mozzarella that had been made just hours before we arrived) with really good prices. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs, so we have tons of leftovers that we are about to enjoy for breakfast!

Thank you, Terrence + all of Sorrento’s team!

PS: I will mention, don’t go here if you’re in a hurry. It is old-school butcher/deli style the way they do things, you will be here a while tasting samples and chatting with the counter people! Great things cannot be rushed.
