“Delicious Asian (American style) take-out. We needed a break from Italian and bar fare so tried Merry Land and wasn’t disappointed! Even at 10pm the food was cooked fresh to order and the staff very friendly. We ordered cold sesame noodles, butterfly bacon shrimp and crispy orange beef. Since our bill was over $42 we had a nice surprise of a complimentary choice of crab rangoon, dumplings or pork fried rice. Went with dumplings and my gosh, what a serving, 7 plump and juicy dumplings. All in all a tasty last vacation meal with leftovers for plane ride home!”

“One of our favorite Italian delis and pizza places, which burned down a while back. They just reopened at this new address 2 weeks ago. Their meats and deli selections are superb. My wife and I shared a margherita pizza which was excellent for an electric oven pizza. The crust is crispy and chewy in just the right places. Great sweet sauce with fresh mozzarella and large basil leaves. The selection of steaks and chops is high end. They will be reopening their original location on Park Ave some time in 2022, which featured a wood burning oven that produced a larger oval and slightly thicker crust pizza that had that bit of extra flavor from the wood fire. Most people won't notice the difference and it's worth the ride for their 17" round pie. Google maps still only shows their old location and lists it as temporarily closed. If you click through to their website you will find the new address. The current shop is much smaller with only 1 or 2 small tables, so you may want to consider take out. We got lucky today and got a seat. The owners are friendly and enthusiastic and you can tell they truly love what they do. Highly recommended.”

“I have been wanting to come here for awhile and after seeing beard meats food came here it reminded me to come here. The place has a cool atmosphere and although it was in the afternoon the service was friendly and attentive. The pulled pork was perfect moist and nicely smoky in flavor and our appetizer of nachos was plentiful and very good with pieces of tender smoked beef mixed into it. Very nice neighborhood, the only knock is I couldn’t find beard’s picture on the wall of fame.”

My mother was able to swap out proteins and broths easily. Personally, i think ordering pick-up from the restaurant is the way to go. Other reviews are complaining about their delivery app experiences, which the restaurant has no control over.”

“I’ve got to say, this place has it down to a science! I needed a place to watch the rangers games so I started looking around for good spots to watch and when I saw the duck on the Rangers site it was a no brainer. The food and drinks were exactly what I was looking for. The menu looked so good we ordered the Ducking everything and it was EVERYTHING. Highly recommend trying it. The server staff was extremely accommodating and the manager of the place Geoff came around and made sure we were doing alright - our conversations felt almost like I knew him my whole life. Can’t wait to come back this summer with my friends!!”

“While I think the staff here has improved over the years, they can still improve. The donuts however have improved exponentially. I had a chocolate donut with chocolate frosting. The donut itself was fresh and moist and fudgy, with not a hint of shortening or that greasy mouth feel. The frosting same thing, great flavor and creamy. Second donut was a chocolate coconut. Chocolate donut was same good quality as the first with the addition of nice sweet and fresh coconut shavings. Not sure if there is new management here or a new baker or both but my hat is off to the management and the staff. Nice job!”
