  I had a question regarding a pedal that was shown on their website. I spoke with Ryan, who immediately realized they had already sold that pedal. He took my email address and sent me information on another pedal that he had available. I placed the order, I let Ryan know that I had placed the order and he put the pedal to the side with my name on it until the order came through. After they had packed my order he sent me another email, very personalized, telling me that the panel was on its way and also wishing me a Happy Thanksgiving. Good customer service is hard to find these days so when it’s done correctly and with a personal touch, it is noticed and appreciated.

  I went to the Westbury, NY location to pick up a book and some reeds for my daughter’s oboe. They didn’t have them in stock but offered to order them and call me when they were in. When I returned to the store to buy them I wandered into the drum section. I’ve always wanted to play the drums. After telling this to Cody, who was manning the section, he sat down at a kit and showed me a simple beat. He then went and got Mike, who also works there and gives lessons, to show me some of the proper techniques. I spent the next hour and a half working on getting the best down. They both were really fantastic and there may be a drum kit and lessons in my future!

  As a music teacher and the mom of a promising young musician I spend a lot of time in Sam Ash, Carle Place. They are professional and knowledgable. As you can imagine I have purchased many instruments from them and have had a positive experience EVERY time. I feel the need to explain a situation I witnessed as someone put a negative review about it and they left out a lot of the details. I was in the store earlier today and it was very busy in the guitar area. I can honestly say all hands were on deck and people from other departments were helping as well. I signaled one of the managers I know, who is actually from the lessons department, that I needed some help. She apologized and told me there were two people ahead of me, someone else had just asked her to help them. She indicated the customer who was ahead of me so I would know when it was my turn. This other customer, who just asked for help, was told someone would be with her shortly as everyone was helping other customers waited less than a minute for help then left the area in a huff. I understand that everyones time is precious but to expect someone to stop helping a customer to come help you then post a negative review? That is a wrong I couldn't let sit by and do nothing about. This store and it's staff are amazing. I highly recommend them for all your music needs!

  Nice selection of guitars. Lots of rooms with every musical equipment you could need. They give lessons and make repairs. Staff seemed a little busy talking to each other but other than that a great place for the music lover.

  I've visited and purchased a lot gear over the years live at music stores as well as online but I've always have the BEST experience at Sam Ash Carle Place. Since I play guitar, I spend most of time in that department and they are always helpful and knowledgeable. Most recently, I purchased a new Marshall amp at this location and Ryan was great in guiding me to the right gear based on what my needs were. I didn't feel pressure to buy anything I didn't want and, as a result, I bought the most fantastic amp for my needs. Thanks Ryan!
