“Jeff Goldberg is an experienced Civil Attorney specializing in disability law. He works with the Parker Waichman law firm. I've been fortunate to have employed Jeff Goldberg's legal services since 2016. The disability system is complex and constantly changing. The pressures on public pension disability pensions has only increased over the past few years. Working with any attorney is a collaborative effort. Proper documentation and open communication are vital. There is no legal "magic," in fact, the outcome of any case seems as dependent upon the documentation and cooperation of the Plaintiff as anything else. Jeff and his staff (Julie Logan is also an excellent professional) are honest and direct. No attorney wants to take on a case that doesn't have a good chance of a positive outcome. That’s vital information to know early on, especially in this changing disability climate. If you are hurt on a job, meticulous documentation and a sound legal assessment are absolutely vital. Even "presumptive" illnesses are often challenged and must be litigated. Unfortunately, most workers are completely unaware of the perils and pitfalls of our complex disability system. We go from full time work in the job we've devoted our lives to, into a complex world we know little about. That's why experienced legal representation can be so vital and your choice of attorney may be the most important decision you make. Personally, I recommend Jeff Goldberg without reservation! He is a true professional.”

“Jose and his crew were very professional. I called for a fall clean up and he came the same day to give me an estimate. They were able to come the following day and finished pretty quickly. I will be contacting them again in Spring.”

“One of my favorites. A local dive bar with a good atmosphere. Would recommend for anyone that wants to have fun. They have two dart boards and plenty of beer on tap to choose from. You can even order pitchers of beer at reduced prices! They recently even started preparing frozen bar pizzas which is always a nice plus! I frequent this establishment and always look forward to my next drink there.”

“It is true Nassau county consumer affairs can be a real pain in the ……. ! But in all fairness I can say this current administration deserves 5 stars and here’s why. First let me assure you that previous to my recent experiences I had no and have no special connections there. My contractor license application was denied back in 2013 under the former administration with Madylyn Farley as the commissioner head of the department, and for no good reason another than they failed to review my application diligently and denied it based on false and illegal assumptions, and in short she / they just don’t care about us contractors and our families . I requested a meeting with Farley and was told any requests have to be in writing. I wrote request and was emphatically denied and told and I quote “you can’t meet with Farley she don’t do that”. I requested my file to see what there findings were to deny my application and they denied me again breaking the freedom of information law. I went to a lawyer who told me not to waste my money and time. So my hands have been tied and the frustration and anger was overwhelming to say the least. We’ll turns out Someone was doing there job and got rid of Farley and now we have Commissioner Capece and his team who lent me an ear and allowed me to explain my story. They unraveled the mess Farley made and issued me my license. I had the opportunity in my recent experience to see what is going on behind the scenes and everyone there from the front desk to the back offices are polite helpful and respectful even given the fact that they’re probably frustrated themselves being severely understaffed. They are backlogged with not only The mess from Farley but throw the Covid pandemic on top of that. They are top shelf people there and what they’re dealing with is deserving of 6 stars if that was possibly. Thank you commissioner Capece, and team.”

“I will never ever forget the day we took Mom out of her home and to The Bristal. It was the beginning of the pandemic and it had become too dangerous for her to continue living alone. After a lot of research, we decided on The Bristal at Lynbrook. Friends told us not to do this to her. She would be happier at home. Safer at home. What they didn't know is the The Bristal at Lynbrook is a VERY very special place. The day we dropped Mom off was SO traumatic for my Mom as well as my brother and me. We knew we wouldn't see her for a while because of COVID restrictions. We knew she was so confused and scared. But every single person we dealt with that day was so patient and caring and warm. There really isn't enough room here to tell all the stories but there are a LOT of them. I remember Wendy Gregg telling us that a prerequisite to being hired there is to have a big heart. I found those hearts every single time I called or visited. It was remarkable. From sweet Nancy and Olivia when I'd walk in the door to all the caring and loving staff who would say hello and who clearly knew and loved our mom. LONG chats with Patty (nurse) when Mom started winding down. This is a very very special place. Recently we had to move mom to skilled nursing since she's no longer mobile. I am personally sad and will miss the family that we created at The Bristal. We will never forget the smiles, care, chats, and just the time spent with a very remarkable group of caring human beings. Do I recommend the place? 200% YES! I'm sorry to not name every person but I hope you all know how we will hold all of YOU in our hearts forever.”
