  Recently moved to NYC with my girlfriend, we attempted to find an apartment on our own at first but we had a time constraint so we looked for a broker. We were lucky enough to find Bryan Portalatin and Bohemia on our first try. He helped us immensely as we were new here and didnt know what we were doing, we found an apartment in our budget in an area that we liked. We felt comfortable and he worked with us, answering every question we had.

  Don Burroughs is not only a fantastic agent, but an INCREDIBLE human being. If there were more people like him, renting in New York City would be a breeze. I feel like he lifted the world off my shoulders, seriously. We have only spoken over the phone twice, and he was HIGHLY informative and truly cared about helping me find the right place. I called him hoping to view apartments with Bohemia, but I was approved for something else with another agent from another company. I was very nervous and having doubts, so I called him hoping he would give me some advice. Don straight up told me, "I would not be a good agent if I didn't tell you to sign this lease, even if it means I don't get the chance to find an apartment for you." He listened to every concern, answered every question, and repeated himself if I needed clarity. There's so much to learn when it's your first time renting, and having someone who is looking out for your best interest is invaluable. I am beyond grateful. He assured me that it would be smart to go with what my boyfriend and I found. If I'm ever looking for a place again, Don Burroughs would be the ONLY person I would call.

  Truly I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ben and Sheffield! After meeting with Ben in August back when we weren't quite ready to move yet, we contacted him desperately after a horrible experience with a broker from another agency. Ben responded immediately and met with my boyfriend and I separately the very next day to look at apartments at different times. He never once made either of us feel rushed or like an inconvenience. We found our dream apartment through him, and he even negotiated on our behalf to make the process more affordable. Time and time again he and Sheffield were accommodating as could be while we applied, and made sure that we had everything we needed and that we looked our best on paper. It was all swift and as pain-free as applying for an apartment can be. They have been ceaselessly amazing and accommodating, and I know that we truly will NEVER work with another agent again until we move out of the city. Thank you time and again, Ben and Sheffield- you guys are the real deal!

  My roommates and I used this agency to find the apartment we are in now in Harlem. The broker (Garrett) was diligent and professional the whole way though - made sure we had everything we needed and wanted. He was our third broker and we found "the apartment" on the first try.
