They even provided me with some free materials to study for my exam! The library is full of useful materials for learners of German as a second langauge. If you are in NYC and learning German, I highly recommend that you visit here!

(September 28, 2019, 5:13 pm)The Goethe Institute is a truly magnetic place where one can learn German, German literature, and German contemporary culture in general. Tucked away on Irving Place near Union Square, it offers a spacious library on the ground floor, and airy classrooms on the 4th floor. It’s best to join as a student or member in some form. I love this Institute. It is a haven for anyone interested in the European intellectual life and life style.
