  I was in desperate need of replacing my glasses during the Covid crisis and the gentlemen at silver lining went above and beyond. Even while closed, they made special arrangements for me to get my glasses replaced, and all the while were practicing the utmost safety protocol. I appreciate you!

  I am a New Yorker who has been wearing glasses for 4+ decades. I can say, after having patronized many stores in various neighborhoods, that Silver Lining Opticians knows what they're doing. They are experienced, thorough, honest and have great taste. A very well-curated selection that appeals to different tastes and price points. They are also very patient and communicates quickly. I really don't feel the need to oversell their service because once you visit the shop and talk with them, you will know that you are getting a top-tier service. They are really nice, chill guys with expert knowledge.

  This shop has the widest variety and most beautiful glasses in Soho. And the people who run it are extremely knowledgeable. When I told Erik what I was looking for, he immediately brought me a number of great glasses to try on, exactly the right style, shape, and color for my face. My prescription was filled in less than a week and I couldn't be happier with my new glasses. But that is not all. The shop itself is lovely and inviting, and the conversation I had with Erik, as he was assisting me, was stimulating and delightful. I am definitely going to buy glasses at Silver Lining in the future and recommend it to anyone who is reading this review. You can't go wrong there.

  I found it refreshing to get honest advise about style and fit. The selection was great too. Independent hand crafted styles from brands I was eager to learn more about. Not inexpensive, but a value!
