Perfect Strangers of NYC

Sarah's reviews are exceptional and believe me they are well deserved. This is so much more then a review for me, it's the smallest thank you I can give for the most a broker, or anyone, could possibly invest in a client. My credit was less then ideal to begin with and Sarah showed me only apartments that would work with me. She showed me a great apartment and linked me to two roommates who were people I was thrilled to meet. I'm not partial to everyone so this is saying something. The three of us seemed to bond instantly, and although I like most people, I certainly don't bond that quickly with everyone. We all liked the apartment and were very aware that the way we all gelled was significant. Life with roomies isn't easy so you want to be matched up with people who can start you off on the right foot. Sarah has a knack for this and that is so important.

We all applied and started packing our bags but when the management company ran my report something came up that I wasn't previously aware of. I can not over state the importance of filling Sarah in on whatever might come up on your credit, judgement and criminal report. She worked with what I was aware of and has disclose to her. She was always transparent with me and I always felt I could trust her with my past errors. Had I known and disclosed she may have been able to forewarn the management company and circumvent the decline of my application. After the shock of finding out there was something on my report that I had no idea about and taking in the fact that I would lose out on amazing roommates and a great apartment I truly figured I should sublet until I sorted myself out, I already had problematic credit so now was definitely not the time to try to get on a lease. I spoke to Sarah on the phone and she wasn't giving up hope. In all honesty at that moment I kind of thought she was crazy and was wasting her time. I'm so thankful she wasn't.

Sarah has a lot of contacts and connections and she reached into those connections to find an apartment that would approve me AND she did this 7 days before I had to be out of my current apartment. The apartment she found for myself,and the two amazing roommates I had connected with, is GORGEOUS. I don't know how she did this, okay I guess I do. She's been in this field for a long time and can reach out to contacts in times of crisis. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Even when we gave up on the prospect of living together in a decent apartment Sarah did not. The end result is more then I could have wished for. I'll never be able to adequately thank her but I hope this review is a start.

This is the second time I'm working with Perfect Strangers and they are AMAZING! They not only helped me find roommates when I first moved into my apartment, but then when those roommates planned to leave at the end of the lease, and I was at a risk of having to leave my amazing apartment, Perfect Strangers came through once again! They helped me find 3 new roommates and took care of most of the paperwork. They are fast, they are thorough, and their team is full of genuine and approachable people. I will definitely maintain my relationship with them and look forward to using their service in the future.
