(August 2, 2018, 11:29 am)I downgraded my review from a 5 star to 4 stars. Why you might ask, while I find most of the Staff members pleasant, Dan, Bob to name a few I personally interact with, and many of my fellow gym goers great, there is one thing that has been bothering me recently, FOOD:
While this may seem like a small complaint; if paying members are not allowed to eat on the floor, why do staff members? I understand drinking water, pre or post workouts or even a protein shake, maybe even the occasional banana, but why is someone eating a full fledged meal in the gym, while people are working out? Today while I was working out, I got a whiff of someone's food and it induced a gag reflex in me during my cardio session. I don't know who they were, or what they were eating, but I didn't appreciate it. I will continue to patronize this gym as I enjoy coming here, but seriously I don't come to the gym to smell someone's food while I am working out

Gold's Gym Harriman is a fantastic facility! I've been a member here for nearly 20 years going back to the old facility next door. The new gym that opened a couple years ago is bright & shiny, has a nice variety of machines, free weights, treadmills & ellipticall machines.
