Dr. Janet Bodey

I had 3 teeth removed. Dr. Bodey was great and quick. I only have one major issue. And not sure if Bodey is to blame. But I recently started taking Plavix (a blood thinner) though I stated this fact to the receptionist, the x-ray tech, Dr. Bodey and her assistant. After I was done, the staff told me they sent 2 prescriptions to my pharmacist. When I went to the pharmacist, I found out Ibuprofen and Amoxicillin were the prescriptions.
Now what concerns me is they prescribed Ibuprofen which is harmful and could possibly causeheart attack, stroke or death to a person on a blood thinner. Thankfully my fiance and the pharmacist were able to catch the mistake. What fully frustrated me is I mentioned the blood thinner several times to different people and no one caught it.

I like this dentist, but a mistake like this does not give me much confidence to return.

I had a broken wisdom tooth extracted. Only 1 hour waiting at the reception area. I was sedated and when I woke up I was already seated out in the waiting area. No pain at all. Didn't take the pain meds, but took the antibiotic that was picked up from the pharmacy. Dr. Bodey was great at Middletown NY location
