It's part of the Appalachian trail so you'll see some through hikers. Have also seen a mom'ma bear with three cubs.
(July 29, 2018, 5:41 pm)Great place. If you have a raft or non motor boat great place to fish and float. There's a bulletin board with flyers that give great info on what you might encounter.
(June 15, 2018, 6:03 am)Nice launch, nice paddle. It's a bit rugged and takes 3 hours to complete. Requires 2nd vehicle to return to the launch.
(June 5, 2018, 10:17 am)I was shocked at how much wildlife and waterfowl I saw in just minutes from the parking area. I can't wait to take my two year old here due to the easy grade and awesome views.
