(June 24, 2018, 5:13 pm)Great short hike. You can choose a variety of hikes depending on your mood, and all offer a great experience. We choose this one because it was short, and we could see the remains of a few old buildings. Next time we'r are looking at sound the short loop (2-3 miles). Will work ourselves up to the long loop.
(June 22, 2018, 9:21 pm)There's many trails in the area with varying difficulty. We walked the blue trail today from the recently updated parking lot to the ruins of the old Cornish Estate with three kids ages 5, 4 and 2. The hike was very nice and very doable with young kids. Just have to find things for them to do to keep them entertained until you reach the ruins. Just be aware that along the trail, there's a lot of poison ivy so definitely keep the kids on the trail.
