  This neighborhood Pharmacy has been around for a few decades, the name came from the original family owners who were kind, efficient and caring. A couple of your years ago, they sold it to the recent owners, who are so similar in nature, being kind, efficient and caring as well; it's as though you have been friends for years. If you haven't called in to renew your prescription, they reach out to you, and will tell you when it will be ready or if you want, they will have it delivered to you, at no additional charge. If you need an updated prescription, they will call the physician when necesssry. If there is an item that you need and can't find it, they will look for it, if they don't have it, they will order it (usually in before 5p same day or next day). You can only get this kind of personal service from a neighborhood pharmacy, and always with a greeting and a smile - that personal touch. So if you're new to the neighborhood, give them a try, they take most insurance and union plans, just call or stop in, and they always try to meet the customers needs. Medicare patients get your flu shots with a prescription for "free", no waiting long hours in your physicians office. So what are you waiting for, go to Salzman Chemists and see how well kept and clean it is. One stop shopping for personal items, vitamins, oral hygiene, I could go on, but check it out for yourself. They are open 7 days a week with good hours to meet all of our hectic schedules.

  Friendly staff, good prices, and a nice neighborhood experience. We prefer using Salzman to a large chain pharmacy.
