Excellent school. Good size and manageable compared to other public high schools. Teachers are high quality and committed. You can tell that they like working there. They have several varsity teams. The new principal is amazing; she used to be the assistant principal at Stuyvesant High School, so this school is getting better and better.
At first sight of this school, was the impression of the cleanliness. Unlike Brooklyn Tech , I must say this school must be the most organized cleanest school. The Uniform policies are ridiculous, needing a solution through this.
Very very good school, came in as a freshman and I was surprised on how clean it was, how bright it is, meaning it's not dark and gloomy, the teachers are fantastic and always helpful, same with the lunch staff, everyone there is fantastic. There education is great too. Far better than Forest Hills High School.
I was a former student. One of the first to graduate. At the beginning the school was a mess but ever since a new principle took over it has gotten much better. The school is very helpful even after you graduate.
This School has met all my expectations. At first the school had a hard time but then when the new principle stepped in he made a big impact on the school. The teachers are always willing to help the students and at the end when my daughter graduated I couldn't have been more happier.
