“This is a small shrine in which the faithful have deposited religious items and many seashells, owing to its beautiful seaside location. There is access to a small beach nearby and nice paved trails to walk on through pretty fields and woods. Access is by foot from a parking lot on Hylan Blvd. This is part of the Mt Loretto, once the largest orphanage complex in the city, and the girls' orphanage and a hospital once stood on this site. Those buildings burned down and were demolished years ago. The shrine is the only visible remnant of the orphanage era near the beach - though a church and other buildings remain on the west side of Hylan.”

“This Respiratory Equipment and Supply company is a very special place. They really care about their customers who are patients struggling to breathe. The owner Noel Estrada and his employees were extremely responsive to my 97 year old mother during her 6 month battle with severe pulmonary hypertension. He gave me his cell number and responded to texts at all hours of the night and weekendds for things I might need that Hospice was slow in providing like oxygen and portable oxygen concentrators. He even came to my mother in laws funeral. I am a former Nursing Vice-President of a hospital in New York City and have come upon many respiratory therapists and equipment companies. I give them 10 stars from the bottom of my heart. They were there from the long run even when it did not make business sense to be. We will always be in their debt for their care and service. From the size of your home to configuring how much storage space you need to utilize, this woman does it all! The facility is very clean, neat, and, organized, and, I love the security features, especially for the elevator. Kelly is so friendly it's as if you have known her forever.
