(March 17, 2017, 6:17 am)I had the pleasure of visiting the Seguine Mansion for one of its open houses during one of NYC's historic home open house weekends. While the home is stunning and a great representation of some of the rich history on Staten Island, I was disappointed to learn that only the bottom floor and grounds were available to walk through. I was hoping to tour the whole house. When there's another open house opportunity I hope to go back and see the top floors. You can imagine the people who lived there and the life they led. A real look into the past.
