“Thankfully, I met Dan while walking down at the park. It was just the right time for my wife and I to discover meditation. We both took a private class and despite my past experience with meditation in martial arts, I'd never been able to get into as deep a meditation as I did with Dan guiding me through it. I left there feeling completely relaxed and at ease. Since then, my wife and I have committed to a daily meditation practice. We attend some of his classes on Thursday nights and even trained with him for a month privately. I'm happy to say we've even become friends through all of this. Great studio- very relaxing. Great guy. Great teacher who genuinely cares and believes in what he's doing.”

“I am the most difficult person to please and after many hours of searching/visiting many boutiques all around Staten Island I was basically ready to give up on the Christening Dress Search until I visited the Born Yesterday Boutique by Elizabeth, 5 days before the party... Elizabeth and her staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and a pleasure to be around. They made us feel comfortable and made dreams come true. Elizabeth understood my taste right away and from there on designing the dress was a breeze. She knew exactly what I wanted in a dress. I felt super comfortable with her and knew that she would do an amazing job designing a perfect dress, which she did. What impressed me the most was her ambition, interest and passion. In addition to this, the turn around time was super quick and the dress was ready within 3 days.. Lastly, Elizabeth ran into the city on a Tuesday afternoon just so she can purchase more fabric that was needed to complete my daughters dress.. All in all, if you are a super picky/particular person then you need look no further. Just visit Elizabeth. She is a very talented designer. I am very happy with my daughters Christening Dress and we can't wait to return!!! Please ignore all the negative reviews. Elizabeth is a doll... Trust me...”

“Nice place but a lot of mosquitoes in the air this summer. The routes are long, and no shortcuts to go back, so count the return time to your car if you walking, especially with kids. I would say, it is better to leave the car not right aftet the entrance, but on the next parking lot.”

Cole’s Dockside is just one of those hidden Gems on Staten Island. It’s a great atmosphere and a great location. It has an excellent waterside view. With respect to the food. As I mentioned above, excellent. However, simply saying the food is excellent is not enough. When you go to a restaurant like Cole’s Dockside presentation is also an important part of the experience. I must say, the plate presentation was great. The decoration of the plates were wonderful. Props and bonus points for the food plating. Overall an outstanding experience. Highly recommend for anyone.”
