“We feel very fortunate that we found Blue Rock School when our son entered Kindergarten. He is very happy there and we are so glad that he is learning in an environment that values multiple intelligences in their students. The small class sizes allow for a very individualized approach and the curriculum emerges from the student's areas of interest year by year. The teaching so far has been very strong but most importantly, the approach of experiential learning seems to really work. By exploring a topic in various different ways and through various different hands-on projects, the information seems to really stick. Most importantly to us, our son's curiosity is encouraged, he is given a platform for his questions and ideas, and afforded space to develop creative solutions to problems. We believe strongly that these skills will prepare him well for a changing world where innovation, initiative and hard work towards creating solutions will be particularly important.
