“Just had a surprise birthday party for my husband at Characters. Jenny and her staff were more than accommodating! I planned the whole event from out of town and the staff was so helpful. The food was perfect, the private room was just right for our crowd and the service was excellent. Our John Wayne theme was accented by their own extensive collection of the Duke displayed on their walls. I would highly recommend Characters for lunch, dinner, a fun night out or a big party!!”

“This is a kosher dairy restaurant. They are half French and half Italian. I'm referring to the menu, not the owner. The owner looks like a Jew from Morocco. But I'm not sure about his origins. I am sure that he is very nice. We visit this place a lot. Today, we went with a party of 10. They have personal pizza pies, eggplant parmesan (my favorite), all types of pasta (not my favorite), French onion soups and a large selection of fish dishes. Like Chilean sea bass, tuna steaks, etc. This is not a fast food place.”

I had two eggs, ham, and three silver dollar pancakes, and everything was delicious; the coffee was serviceable but nothing special.
