“I just went to the Supercuts in Stony Point. I am SO extremely happy. The woman who cut my hair (I am SO bad at names and forgot her name) was wonderful. I showed her a pic of what I wanted and she did exactly what I wanted. She was chatty and friendly, respectful and kind. I had a great experience and will go back again!”

“Beautiful place that can be really busy in the summer, especially on weekends. Hessian Lake and the Hudson River were particularly scenic. There's picnic spots, hiking trails, a pool that's popular with young families, and even historic sites. Come early for a convenient parking spot.”

“Even from 202, this outcropping is a sight to behold. Nestled in the valley, Iona Island preserves the land's natural beauty as well as diverse ecology. I drove in (when the road was not flooded) to see a thorough posterboard of the wildlife and diversity in the preserve. Railroad tracks run under an old Naval ammunition center (closed to the public. I didn't do a ton of exploring, but the map indicated there are some trails to hike around the island. A huge number of songbirds and hunting birds (including the bald eagle!) nest and make homes here. I wish I could share sounds as well as pictures, as there was an orchestra of birdsong the whole time I was there.”

“My wife and I tried this establishment yesterday for breakfast for the first time. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff. For me that was a good sign. I loved the variety of menu options. The service was great. The food was both fresh and excellent. We are definitely looking forward to trying their lunch and dinner menu. It’s great to finally have a restaurant such as this in our area!!”

“First I only gave 4 stars because I only used Advantage once, however my first experience with them was excellent. What initially sets them apart is that they have a pleasant office manager who sets your expectations. She called to let me know the problem/estimate and called me when it was finished. I've gone to plenty of mechanics in which my car was there for a while, they never call you and you come to find out they can't fix it until tomorrow. Geez thank you for telling me nothing. NOT Advantage this office manager was on top of it. I had a recurring problem with an oil line and Advantage told me that whoever did the repair previously used coolant lines to repair my car. That is why I had a recurring oil leak. Anyway for my first experience I give the an "A." I will definitely use them again. EDIT: I had an opportunity to go there a second time to get an inspection on my car and they told me that they only take appointments for inspections and other repairs. The last time i visited Advantage I had my car towed there and they got the work done that same day with not issues.I offered to leave it for the day/overnight if they could get it done by tomorrow but they couldn't guarantee my car getting inspected by tomorrow. I guess if you have a scheduled repair that needs to be done this method is great but what happens in an emergency. So my update goes like this........If you have time to make an appointment then this place can work out for you, I would definitely consider this when I need to schedule low priority repairs/maintenance. If you have an emergency then you may need to find another mechanic. We are a two car family and I cannot wait to make an appointment for a week from now to fix my vehicle during an emergency. I'd kick this star rating to a 3.5 if I could due to the possibility of them not being able to assist you.”
