“I contacted M&S about rebuilding an XR250R motor for me. Steve kindly explained that he was very busy with current projects and likely wouldn't be able to get to it anytime soon. Most shops currently are very busy, short handed, and not willing to work on anything older than 10 years or that they didn't sell in the first place. Also, after 45+ years, he can pretty much pick and choose what he wants to get involved with... my words not his... and his wheel house and passion is British bikes. I told him I understood... thanks anyway. Then he offered me an alternative, come in and use his shop, tools, and when Im in a jam... his expertise to do it myself at half the labor rate! Perfect! That's exactly what Ive wanted to do all along. Im getting more comfortable being my own mechanic, but at the time had not tried to split the cases on a bottom end for repairs. I welcomed the chance to learn from him. It turned out to not be a huge job, but I spent 6 hours over two nights in Steve's shop and he was very helpful and I enjoyed it very much. Im on the hunt for my next project already... hoping to make it British... and to spend some more time in Steve's shop.”

“Good local eatery with some interesting selections from breakfast items to dinner items. These guys are famous for their desserts including their cheesecakes. We came out here traveling and with no idea where to go we rolled up into this place. Service was very nice. Pricing was reasonable. Portions were good size. I tried half a dozen items on the menu. The Boston clam chowder was really nice and had some good chunks of clam. The Manhattan chowder was equally tasty and was the winner between my choice. The Reuben sandwich was really yummy but it would have loved to have seen a little bit more meat included. Fish and chips was really good. Greek salad was massive and very tasty. The cheesecake selection was huge and we tried two different cheesecakes both were excellent and it seemed that none of them you can go wrong with. In no ways was I overly thrilled with everything but I really enjoyed my meal and it was definitely a good find on my way to Boston.”

“This place is the real deal. Food was amazing. I recommend the chicken lunch special (roasted or stewed chicken and a bunch of awesome rice). The yellow rice is what I had, and was perfect. Oh, and the empanadas... Dude... You need to get those. This is the perfect little spot and the quintessential "hidden gem", as it is oddly placed on the side of a gas station. We are totally going to be regulars here”

“I opened my septic tank to clean my filter as I normally do and noticed my water level was extremely high. I called Mulyca and got a call back very quickly despite Carol being on vacation. She gave me a date and time that she could come by and showed up on time, took a lot of time to talk to us about what the problem likely was, and got to work. She took pictures for us to see what was going on while she worked and gave us a ton of information to keep us running smoothly going forward. She was quick, efficient, and not anywhere near as expensive as I thought. Great value all around - I highly recommend Carol at Mulyca Septic!”

“For The Love Of Bacon, the name alone speaks to me in conjunction with my often spoken phrase, "Bacon makes everything better". Walking into the shop we were greeted by a life size Deadpool statue wearing a mask and a KETO sign, we learned he is inside the entry way for winter, normally residing outside beckoning travelers to stop for a picture and a visit to the shop. We were greeted by staff and began to take in the vast inventory of Keto friendly foods. Everything from the namesake bacon to jerky, prepared meals, meats, cheeses, desserts, condiments, snacks and other items. It is a lot to take in and we enjoyed browsing and selecting a mix of items to try. I will update the review after sampling our purchases but we enjoyed our first visit and found the staff friendly and helpful.”

The prices are a little on the high side for a place you have to dig through, but still reasonable and willing to negotiate a bit. From outdated autopart catalogs/guides, mcm furniture, car parts, records, and architectural salvage this place has it all. And john the owner is very knowledgeable and friendly, the dog you need to watch out for, a little to friendly and loud.”
