“Went here for dinner on a sunday. We had a reservation and were taken to our table promptly upon arrival. Our server was prompt and friendly. We had their mac and cheese as well as the loaded mac. Both were hot and delicious and we took half home for later. The beers were great too, tried the Short Stack (malty) and the Copper Tone (bitter) and took home a 4 pack of wee heavy in cans. The only disappointment was the dessert. They gave us a piece of peanut butter pie that was only about 2" wide at the far side tapering into a small triangle and charged us $8. Skip the dessert, its a big waste of money. We were incredibly disappointed, otherwise this would have been a 5* visit.”

“I did an extended stay with The Stockade Inn from 06/23/22 to 09/23/22. The room that was provided was very clean and spacious and it was easy for me to come and go as I please. They have a good size parking lot which was great because I drive a a rather large vehicle. I had a really decent size fridge for hotel standards as well as a microwave that worked perfectly. They have the best wifi known to man(seriously) and their heating and cooling unit was very dependable and user friendly. Security is good having us punch in our room codes to enter the premises so safety is a priority at the Stockade. Communication from management(just timing wise)could use a bit of improvement but was never a serious matter as they were always pleasant and helpful AND they were currently renovating and making improvements to the Stockade while I was present as an extended stay. They really appreciate their extended stay folks for being with them during this exciting time. The Stockade is located in a really neat historical neighborhood that is quite interesting and pretty quaint. I would definitely consider returning to the Stockade as I always felt very comfortable staying with them.”

“I live in a rural area and recently decided to switch from heating oil to propane, which meant a new furnace and water heater. After receiving several quotes and getting feedback from coworkers, I decided to go with Adams. Right away I realized that it was the right choice! Chris came out and gave us a very detailed quote; it wasn’t the lowest price we had quoted but it was 30% less than the most expensive. The level of detail that he provided far exceeded anyone else who quoted the job, I felt very comfortable that I was working with someone knowledgeable and who also had my best interest in mind. Prior to scheduling the work I had to arrange for propane to be installed, and of course while I was waiting for that to happen my oil burning weather heater stopped working. I figured it would be a good opportunity to give Adams a test run and called to see if they could help fix my system at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon. They did not disappoint! A technician stopped by on his way home, fixed my water heater and the service call was incredibly affordable. I was sold, I called and confirmed my order a few days later. Flash forward to install day (only about 10 days later) and it couldn’t have gone any smoother. The guys worked quickly, neatly, and professionally. The work was incredibly well done and I am raving about my new furnace. I highly recommend Adams Heating and Cooling for new installations and service, I know I’ll be a customer for a long time.”

“Quiet motel. Older building, room has been updated with new beds etc. Beds were good - no issues. Front desk very helpful about local restaurants and stores and directions. So so breakfast - enough variety but lots of prepackaged items. Looks like area used to be more thriving as nearby restaurants closed by 8pm. Location is fine for an overnight stay.”
