(December 5, 2018, 2:01 pm)Most bakeries excel either at baking bread, or making pastries. Not many excel at both. Copenhagen does. It does so while providing a comfy European atmosphere and a place to stop for a while and relax over coffee and conversation. Also, in keeping with local New York expectations, they also stock fresh light fare to grab and go. This is a high quality bakery that you can easily make into a daily stop.
(November 26, 2018, 10:54 am)The cinnamon raisen roll is probably the best thing I've ever had for breakfast in my life. I recently moved within walking distance of Copenhagen and we eat there regularly. It's an AMAZING place.
(October 12, 2018, 7:59 am)Love, love love Copenhagen Bakery. Oh everything is amazing and delicious. Their pastry and prepared food. Coffee, great! Cookies, greater! Pastry and breads, greatest on Long Island, Northport. Truly a wonderful place.
(September 11, 2018, 4:11 pm)Copenhagen is so special, it almost defies description. It is always bustling, and it is a bakery and restaurant combination. Tables inside and outside, a robust selection of bakery items, as well as breakfast and lunch fare. Northport is distinctly a destination Village, and Copenhagen is a great place in which to enjoy a meal, watch the people, get a view of the harbor, and just enjoy yourself. Give it a try.
(September 8, 2018, 9:59 pm)I have to support my local bakery, not just because it's right here in the village, but because they have the most delicious rosemary bread I've ever had. If you get a fresh loaf, you'll be hard pressed to not eat the whole thing immediately. If you're a morning person and you have the time, grab a cup of coffee and just hang out by the water.
