    (EDIT 09/13/2018)

This will be my first year in this school, therefore this review will be edited as my time in Suffolk goes on. If you want to know how my placement/registration process went then keep reading.

For me, the staff was always helpful. For the majority of the registration process it will be in the cammuset hall building. There are signs everywhere to know where to go but i did ask a few times where certain places were and staff was nice enough to point me into the right direction.

I needed accommodations for my placement tests and they were very helpful in providing me in what forms I needed and quickly gave me a date. The accommodations where exactly what I wanted and the staff was very kind through it all.

After that, I saw a counselor. I will admit this was the only issue I had. I did have an appointment to go over my placement tests and classes but ended up waiting 3 hours. Yet, I can't hold it against them because their staff was small and there were many people doing the same. If you have no patience, then this won't be the place for you. The people at the desk were nice even when it was busy.

I finally got my named called and my counselor Brian was very nice and easy going. He really got me into the classes I wanted and even gave me some advice about doing a math lab class only for half semester and then I can easily change it. He was overall very nice and helpful.

After that you have to go upstairs and register. The girls behind the desk were incredibly nice and explained to me what the math class would be like since it was a lab. After I confirmed my full time evening classes i was sent to the cashier that was next to the registration area and paid my tuition (through financial aid)

I am all set for school this 2018 fall semester and I really can't complain about the staff or people. People need to remember that not everyone will have your standards of "politeness". They have to help alot of students and sometimes can seem stern, but you will have to deal with that in life regardless. (Of course if you are being humiliated or discriminated that is something to be taken to the board and take action immediately.)

As for now I am content. But will update when the semester starts and how my teachers are.

    Edit:

So I am two weeks into the fall semester and I can't complain. It's a community college and that's what it is.

My professors - some are against any type of tech and other are all for digital studies, so be mindful of that and read the syllabus.

ASK QUESTIONS! If you don't understand - ask. If not, ask a classmate.

Walking building to building is alright, although for evening classes be careful and report anything weird or off. Get to you building or car fast.

The only issue I've come to have is with the bookstore. They know that we need books yet they always want to delay things when we are on a deadline. The should know better that this is college and have an idea that people need their books and access codes.

As for everything else, I've had a good experience in this campus and feel safe in every class (I have panic disorder) and i made it clear to each professor and they were completely understandable - even the most stubborn one.
