Opus 40

We had a nice time walking through this outdoor work of art. We spent about an hour here. The cost of admission seemed reasonable to us. A word of warning though. There is a lot of opportunity to get hurt here if you're not being careful. There are no guardrails, so pay attention to where you're walking, and consider leaving young children at home.

Amazing! One man’s vision came to life! Hard work pays off! Great place to explore. Spectacular views of the mountains .just an awesome place to visit!

What an extraordinary place! As you walk around, up and down stairs and through rock pathways that are up to 20 feet below grade, it's hard to imagine that Opus 40 is the work of one man. There are many varied features that might remind one of anything from the Tower of London to the blocky surface of the Death Star. Opus 40 is absolutely worth a visit!

Opus 40 is an interesting place. It was nice to walk around and sit a little. We visited on the way to somewhere else, which was perfect and I recommend. I don’t think it’s worth going well out of your way to visit, unless you’re extremely hyped for Opus 40 and want to spend significant time there. It is an impressive piece of work that one man put together. There is a museum on the property with old work tools and a video explaining the artist and the process.

A magical place. Entrance was $11 and $9 for students/Veterans. I wish there was more about the history of the place. Very interesting sculptures and a little museum and store with mugs, shirts, art and more from local artists. They sometimes have concerts and events so check before coming. Buy your ticket online before you visit. There is also plenty of parking but I'm sure it gets packed when they have concerts. You would need about 1 to 2 hrs to see everything. Great place to have a little picnic too as there are plenty of chairs/tables make sure to bring your own food though. Great view of overlook mountain and you can see the fire tower from there.
