A man by the name of Jamie (VW Customer Care) reached out to me & I explained what happened. He then reached out to White Plains VW & their Customer Service Manger called me, Mr. Tom Scalzo.
Tom heard me out & promised me he'd take care of the Service Invoice. He was very thorough & explained to me how it is important to keep the Maintenance Package that I purchased, especially if I'm planning on keeping my car for a long time. (Since it is a Beetle, and it's been discontinued, I'm planning on giving it to my granddaughter in about 20 years since it will be a classic!)
He also explained how I was wrongfully billed for the service after further review of my Maintenance Package. He reached out to the Service Department & I received a FULL REFUND, minus the NYS Inspection, which clearly that is my responsibility.
Moving forward, I will NOW bring my Maintenance Coverage Plan with me whenever my car needs service just in case the Service Department forgets that I am covered! Thank you WP Volkswagen. I feel MUCH BETTER about your dealership. Thank you Tom! 🙏🏼
I was involved in a car accident on 9 8/22. I needed a ride. I was ride sharing until today. I stumbled across the vehicle I have here. I kept trying to find the car in my state (NJ) . I surrendered earlier this week (Tuesday) & went to White Plains, NY. I was assigned Melvin. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable, accomadating and professional. He didn't try to handle or hassle me into a higher price vehicle. I appreciate that. The other part is that when I told him what time I was arriving, he had everything ready for me. I was literally in by 12/12:30 PM & out by 2 PM. Anyone who knows the car buying process knows that this is like the Express lane. Now I had a part. I knew what I wanted. He (Melvin) helped me with becoming familiar with the features.

About one month ago, I purchased an Audi SQ5 from Volkswagen of White Plains and I had to follow it up with a review. The entire experience was stress free and full of laughter. I felt as if the entire staff was supporting me as I test drove vehicles until I found the one for me. My Sales Associate, Malik Barnett, was extremely patient and exceptionally knowledgeable on multiple brands of vehicles. (Seriously! Go stop by and pick his brain about any brand and see if I’m right:-). Not only was Malik a pleasure to work with, but manager Tommy was also instrumental in telling me which vehicle best suited my personality. Along the way, other sales persons and staffers came out to offer their two cents, and by the end of the deal it was clear that there’s a family at work at VW White Plains. I absolutely love my new car and I’m extremely happy with the entire experience!
