We need a broad menu to suit the tastes of our picky family including a foodie, a vegetarian, and a lactose intolerant, health-focused honoree. Everything went very well; our party of 4 enjoyed a lovely evening. The truffle popcorn appetizer was a surprise hit, flavorful and light. We also enjoyed the brussels sprout appetizer. Our entrees included a tasty version of lobster paella, seared salmon, sesame encrusted tuna, and a harvest bowl with salmon added. All the dishes were well prepared and nicely plated. We chose not to have dessert, but the options looked tempting. We expect to put Vela Kitchen into our restaurant rotation.”

“I live in North Jersey but discovered the waterfront of Peekskill on a motorcycle ride up through Bear Mountain. Since then I've been to the area countless times. I wanted to try Buns N Bourbon, as I usually go to Taco Dive Bar. To my surprise, BnB was gone!! In the same building, was a new place, BAJARITO!! From here you can build your own burrito, and/or get tacos from Taco Dive Bar. I ordered a burrito. Vegetarian...built my own. I have to say... It was probably the best looking and best tasting burrito I have ever had. This is not a paid advertising lol it's totally true. Smart sharp energetic bar staff, fast delicious food, great view, great scenery. I highly recommend you visit the region and hit each of the eateries and drinkeries. Safety protocols were observed. And that Falafel Pita Sandwich they put together might have been an all time top 10 sandwich for me. 100% Vegan and 100% Delicious. They won me over. “Great Casino, Easy access from the Highway and bus transportation. It is very clean with tons of machines and lots of fun, they have a huge parking lot and also a shuttle that picks you up in the parking lot for free, the walk is not so bad as well. They also have live music at times and a pretty big bar on the stage there is a big screen where you can watch the sports games, there are restaurants as well, they only have electronic tables for poker, roulette and other table games, a lot of slot machines.”

“This evening we had the most exquisite tasting pizza from the Pizza Vitale Truck. They had parked in a friend’s driveway as part of a great way of helping to treat neighbors to their delicious pizzas while avoiding trying to go out to a restaurant while bring focused on social distancing! We had two outstanding pizzas: a vegetable and an arugula pizza. The pies were baked in a wood burning oven and the pies were truly phenomenal. They also made a Nutella pizza with fresh strawberries that was a dessert like none I’ve ever devoured!! Yum,Yum!”

“It was my 22nd birthday today and my first time ever eating at that place. When I first walked into the restaurant 15 minutes after they opened in the morning, the owner and staff were very nice that they created such a friendly atmosphere for me as well as showing great hospitality to enjoy my birthday. Man, the food is 100% delicious and amazing because of the sauce they put for the chicken and lamb! The Spinach with tofu was also so delicious as well as the rice followed by the Samosa tasting very good. When I first ate the Samosa, it was so good! The owner there was the best one that I know because when my family and I ask for a second plate of rice, he did not hesitate and was very happy to hear that I wanted more rice so feel free to ask him or the servers for more rice and they will kindly get it for you and make you feel welcomed. To me, this was my best birthday lunch ever and that is why I give five stars and an A+ . So if you are looking for a yummy place to eat, I highly recommend going there and supporting their business because the employees there make delicious food for you to eat, enjoy, and make you walk out satisfied and full. You can always ask to have some left overs in a box for you to eat. Since the employees treated me with such kindness on my Birthday, I made sure to finish all the food for them by finishing all the foods that I got and I am very happy that I got a chance to eat there.”
