“I had a first visit with Cristina Roszel. I’ve been dealing with crazy pain, unexplained health issues and just a general sense of despair as my body seems to break down more each day the past 4-5 years. I absolutely dread and avoid doctors bc since my illness cant be seen, I ALWAYS had to explain THE PAST 4 YEARS, reexplain, ARGUE, cry and try convince the dr the severity of what I’m dealing with and the negative impact it’s having on my life and mental state …and also that it can’t be resolved with yogurt and exercise. It’s exhausting, frustrating and humiliating. Today was the FIRST TIME EVER that I’ve walked in to an office and Cristina was READY. I mean READY. I didn’t have to explain Anything to her. She knew I have a lot going on and that it’s confusing and frustrating. She offered empathy vs the apathy I’ve become used to. She was never dismissive but instead made me feel completely validated. I didn’t have to ask her….SHE had a plan for ME already!! She had confidence when she said “we’re going to get to the bottom of this”. She has no idea how much this means to someone like me that’s been unheard for so long. I could have cried and hugged her. It’s the best thing someone has said to me in years. I was truly moved. I’ve been waiting for this type of help and understanding for over 4 years. She has no idea… she feels like an absolute godsend and I am so grateful for her. “I see Dr. Naureen Jaffri about every 7 weeks. Granted the office could be bigger, and sometimes the wait time could be shorter. With that said, I have been to other psychiatrists where the wait time has been up to 4 hours. Frankly, even if I had that wait time with Dr. Naureen, I would still go. In my opinion, if you are looking for a psychiatrist who is actually INTERESTED in your life, and your well-being, and not just a drug dealer who has you out the door in 10 min, this is the doctor to see. She is kind, empathic, genuine, all while holding you accountable. This makes for a great psychiatrist. As for the office staff, they are accommodating, it can take some time, but they are a busy office. Look all of the psychiatrists there take their time with you, (hence the wait time from time to time) Life happens... Isn't that why you are there? I would Recommend Dr. Naureen without hesitation.”
