“My father has been a long term patient in this facility with dementia prior to this location he was in Fieldston Lodge and I have to say making the transfer to Riverdale was the best decision my brother sister and I made. The new staff is welcoming, friendly and always positive. The social worker has always been a greta help to us and my dad. I know my dad will not get better from dementia as it is progressing however I do know Riverdale staff will make the best decision or suggestion for my dads well being. I would strongly recommend this facility specially if your relative has Dementia they have a whole floor for them and it is a locked down facility”

“Wonderful staff at this facility. The therapists and assistants are professional and friendly. The therapists do a thorough assessment and tailor the exercises to your specific needs. The assistants also work with you to make sure that you are doing the work correctly. They're sensitive to any discomfort and make adjustments accordingly. The receptionists are accommodating and courteous. The facility is clean and spacious. The machines are in good condition. The music is suitable for a variety of tastes. There's plenty of parking including handicap spaces. I want to add that someone gave a review about an assistant being "too touchy feely". Touching is necessary in physical therapy. Sometimes they have to position you so that you do the exercises correctly. I've NEVER witnessed nor even heard of any inappropriate behavior by anyone at this facility, and I watch and listen to everything.”
