“We stayed one night in the container cabin. What a cool little cabin. Everything you need in such a tiny place. Very well equipped, very clean,. The attached deck with patio doors, bbq and chairs were great. We ate dinner at the restaurant and were astonished at the excellent customer service provided by the wait staff….The owners were friendly and accommodating. The property: marina, campground, restaurant and cabins were well looked after. Would definitely recommend.”

“Cheap camping, but no special immenities. Clean park. Nice people.”

“Great place for a vacation. Cabins are clean and well stocked. There's charcoal grills available for cooking as well as a stove top in the cabin. You can take a rowboat out on the lake, swim in the lake, relax on the sandy beach and build a fire in the fire pit at night. Close to Lake George and other area attractions. Highly recommend.”

“Shadow Hills Farm far exceeded our expectations! The cabin is cozy, clean, comfortable and also has air conditioning, as well as a TV with streaming options. Yes, there's Wi-Fi, though the surroundings are so nice and peaceful that the noise of the internet and TV was the last thing we wanted during our entire stay, since it clashed with the relaxing sounds of the birds and the constant breeze through the trees. There's a separate cabin, which has a fridge, bar/counter with pretty much all the amenities you'd need to make hot beverages, store cold drinks and perishables, as well as prep whatever you plan to put on the grill. Oh yeah, there's a propane grill that works really well! The hosts thought of everything, there was nothing that we needed that they hadn't supplied. Plus, there's the option of a great breakfast and lunch place not more than about two miles away. There's also a really nice fire pit with more than enough fire wood. Even the outhouse is impressive; hand sanitizer dispenser and extra toilet paper, no bugs or mosquitoes, and it didn't smell! As for the outdoor shower, it's very clean and well designed. At night there are nice, dim lights on the trees to light up the area to see your way around but without taking away from the country ambience. It's worth mentioning that the hosts are awesome! They're so nice and welcoming, available to answer any questions, yet are out of sight, leaving you to enjoy the surroundings with privacy. Suffice it to say that "I'll be back!" … we'll be back. This place is a hidden gem. Update October 2022: Back to see the foliage second week of October. Even with rain and fog, the colors did not disappoint.”

“We had such a good time staying here. Tina was a delight. Felt like staying at a friend's house. The VHS tapes everywhere brought back memories of a simpler time. Tina made breakfast and chatted with us. Would stay again! Thanks Tina :)”

“Easton mountain is a beautiful retreat. Scenic view and the soft quiet to renew yourself. I have volunteered and been a guest here on multiple times and have always left here feeling more myself than anywhere else. The food is great and the staff is amazing.”

“We absolutely loved the fly inn lodge! Being locals to the area, the home and location cannot be beat! It is central to all needed conveniences, beautiful landscape, and the owners provide everything you could need and more. We are thankful for their hospitality and cannot wait to return!”

“It was a fabulous weekend. Rooms are clean and beds are so comfy! Love The kitchen and conference area. The deck area is terrific for hanging out together. No better place to relax next to lake Ontario and beautiful village of Wilson. The service at this place is beyond words. Thank you for helping us host a phenomenal work weekend. Looking forward to our next event here!”

“We originally booked another hotel and had to leave it was so awful. We found the Fort William Henry Hotel and had the best stay. The location is seriously the best on the lake. The rooms and hotel were very clean. The staff was outstanding! Thank you so much Anna, Tanya and Mike for going above and beyond and making us feel so welcome and to the girl who found my sons fishing gear! Phenomenal!”

“Beautiful resort. Visited on a Saturday to try something besides Hunter and Windham and was very pleased. Very powdery, good grooming team. Plenty of varied terrain apart from the glades which don't seem to be open often. Lifts are managed very well, and the ride from bottom to top in the gondola happens in the blink of an eye. Max wait time was less than 5 minutes for a Saturday. Very impressive.”

“A nice clean hotel in the wall street district. Service was good except that I could not charge items to my room. A lovely terrace with exceptional views of Manhattan. My last evening was a bit noisy by surrounding guests, otherwise it was a great stay.”

“My family and I were looking for a place to stay while visiting Niagra Fall and found this little gem on the outskirts of town. It was a bit of a drive from the falls but the scenery was nice which made the drive seem even shorter. Parking was nice and spacious, checking in was easy and friendly and we were very happy to see that the room was very clean. All of the rooms are accessed by entering the building which the owners explained was a converted barn, super cool! I was happy to hear that there was breakfast items provided such as breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, cereal, etc and coffee. The little things like that make the biggest differences and contributes to an awesome experience. The owners live next door and are super friendly. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in that area!!!”

“I was up here for a night for a work retreat and it was divine. The property is beautiful on a nice chunk of land in the Catskills. Other cabins I have stayed at have that musky smell due to being in such a remote, damp area but Urban Cowboy was comfy and immaculate. The staff is fantastic and incredibly accommodating, every detail of the property is well thought out and the big soaking tub with a view is a major plus. We had so much fun bonding as a team with endless on-property activities and nooks and crannies to relax. I told my family how much I enjoyed my stay and we are already thinking about doing a reunion up here. I definitely recommend staying here for a weekend to relax, unwind and have fun.”

“I went for afternoon tea with some friends. The service was great. Very friendly staff. The food was delicious. I found the desserts to be quite dense and rich. I may have liked a lighter option personally but everything tasted great despite the richness of it. The grounds and the building are very gorgeous and I loved the towels in the bathroom, eco-friendly and fancy. I would definitely come back here.”

“Nice place. However, dont be tricked by the photos. There are a lot of houses neighbouring the cabin. Not much privacy, if that is what you are looking for. The price is fine, but you have to do all the cleaning for them before leaving. Personally, I don't make much of a mess which is why this was no problem for me. Great places to hike and explore in the area.”

“Love the fact that there is an efficiency motel that is reasonable with their pricing and can accommodate so many people that have such a hard time getting into a regular apartment. I am very pleased with this place. Thank you!”

“This apartment complex is fantastic! Apartments are beautiful and bright! Exterior grounds clearly well maintained, dishwasher, clean basements with washer and dryer hookups and storage area available. Hallways and stairwells cleaned every week and painted regularly. Quiet residents and parking lot plowed promptly. Manager responds immediately to any questions and attends to concerns quickly. Would highly recommend!”

“Just moved in, have been here 1 week. Very quiet and pleasent place to live. People mind to themselves and the grounds are well maintained for the most part. Newer mobile homes are being put up and the new management seems to be on the ball.”

“Great farm stay! Lots of animals to look at. The geese stroll around like they own the place ;) the staff are very knowledgeable and so helpful. Lots of interactive activities. The farmstay itself is a converted barn, very modern. If you go during colder weather keep in mind that the building doesn't have insulation. Beds are warm and comfy but pack for cold weather!”

“Nice older lady runs the place, there's a charming caboose that unfortunately isn't being used for the office anymore because of stupid paranoid New York covid rules. The campground is planted right on a river and the feeling here is quiet and peaceful.... We arrived on a warm night after a strong rain and saw a hundred or more fireflies blinking near the bridge! The only thing I didn't like was the field sites, even the electric ones--the sites are completely open to sun and broiling hot by 10 am, so I'd recommend making sure you're in a shaded over site if its summertime. Other than the shade problem, no complaints!!”

“I loved my stay at the Catskill Bungalow. I love tiny house movement. I never rented a tiny house before. It was cool just big enough for two people. I will definitely be back soon. Also Ella was very helpful with things to do and the place was really clean. I would suggest the Bungalow to anyone look a nice place to get away. John Douglas Smith”

“Don’t go past this hotel it is a gem Even though a little far the great subway system takes you everywhere. The hotel room has good bed and clean furniture wonderful staff Hotel would have been a grand hotel in its hey day but despite this good room great bathroom scrupulously clean and very professional customer service consider this hotel on your list and good price”

“Wonderful campground. I had a campervan without service connections. They put me in back on the gravel instead of out with the tents on the grass. I was next to the bathroom which was very clean and convenient. Quiet. I was there during the off season so there were mostly long term rentals staying on the grounds. I'd recommend this place for anyone wanting a nice affordable place to stay. First time visiting the Falls. Saw it at night and it was wonderful. Walked across the bridge into Toronto. Canada has the best views of the Falls. Do take the time to visit both sides. Walk or drive across. It's worth it. Be sure to have your ID.”
