“Excellent views on a nice quiet beach. There was a wedding there that day on the beach, so the whole thing wasn't open. Ice creams are huge, so order a size smaller than you normally would.”

“This is a clean, well maintained campground that is quiet and peaceful. The views are spectacular and the pond is gorgeous. The owners are friendly and helpful! My trailer hit ball was loose when I arrived and Larry (one of the owners) helped diagnose it as the wrong size shank on my hitch! He had a new proper sized ball in stock and even installed it for me so we would be ready for the next leg of our journey. So helpful and friendly this one act helped save me half a day going to find it myself! Such a great experience, I highly recommend this campground!”

“Beautiful house and property. Great place to stay for a weekend trip or a longer getaway. A cozy cottage with all modern amenities. I’ve spent a number of weekends here—I know the owners—and had lovely stays each time. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the surroundings are idyllic and calming. Definitely recommend for a couple or group trip.”

“It's all in the details. My stay at Camp Rockaway Fort Tilden was such a relaxing and refreshing experience. The tents were comfortable. The shower stalls were clean. Staff consistently tended to the bathroom facilities. Oh, and the staff (every single one) was helpful at every moment they needed to be. The camp manager was accommodating as can be. When she left a watering can on the porch of the tent so we could rinse the sand off our feet, I realized the love is in the details of the camp. I highly recommend a stay with these folks.”

“Recently stayed at the ranch for the first time as a girls trip. We had so much fun horseback riding, kayaking and swimming. The ranch is under new management and they are doing an amazing job turning it around - shout out to Kate! We felt very welcomed and attended to - even got set up with line dancing lessons. Cabins were cool and clean. Had an amazing time overall!”

“Stopped here to rest our heads for the night on our way back to Erie, PA from Acadia National Park in Maine. Wow, what a nice surprise! We picked this campground because it was right off of Interstate 90, had hook ups and was on the Mohawk River. The owner was very welcoming to us upon our arrival. Be sure to bring cash or check! Scenic campground was spacious, well-groomed and tree-covered. Very quiet after dark. You do hear the occasional train, but not a huge deal. Enjoyed a stand up paddle board (SUP) ride on the Mohawk River. Nice docks located within the campground. Bathrooms were clean and dump station was conveniently located and a snap to use. Firewood for sale through the campground. The morning we left we stopped by The Hungry Chicken Country Store for coffee and amazing breakfast sandwiches. The store was darling and the employees were very friendly. We parked our truck and camper right across the street at the Rotterdam Kiwanis Park. This looked like a great place to access the Mohawk Hudson Bikeway. Overall, happy we selected this campground and will be back if travelling to and from the east coast again.”

“This place is just what I was looking for. The first time I stayed here I wasn't sure what to expect but it exceeded all of my expectations. I felt safe, secure, and was such a great value. Nice easy check-in and great communication from the host. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were clean and smelled like they just came out of the wash. Street parking was a little tricky BUT there is a lot very close (maybe a 1 minute walk) The bathrooms were very clean, I didn't have an opportunity to shower but each floor had two bathrooms and two showers so there was never an issue of me waiting to use the rest room. Whenever I need a place to stay in the Bronx this is my top choice for sure. Thank you again for a great stay!”

“What a beautiful gem! We loved our stay here and will definitely come back. “I was worried about staying here after seeing the reviews but it was too late for me to change reservation. We were pleasantly surprised when we showed up and it was cleaner and nicer than the Quality Inn we stayed in the night before several states away. Obviously and older building, but it seemed better maintained than the previous night. Rooms were clean and quiet. Bed and linens were comfy. Slept well. Waffles were fresh and tasty. Staff was polite and helpful.”

“We enjoyed the visit very much with a 10 year old and 7 year old. They liked all of the attractions. We're Lego fans. The lines were relatively short. The interactive features and decorations while in line were great. Favorite rides were The Dragon coaster and the pirate ships with water cannons. The hotel is lovely and made to engage kids. They loved our castle room. What could be better: 1 - very limited food and long wait with online ordering required. Since there are no working fountains, getting water was expensive and available in limited places. Refill stations would be nice. 2 - limited benches around ride areas for waiting adults to sit 3 - limited shade 4 - apps required for dining did not show a menu in advance of ordering. Other features were limited and didn't show well on either Apple or Android phone”

“An experience like none other! We just came back today after spending six nights in our yurt at Andelyn Farm. First, Lyn and Andy were very warm and welcoming when we arrived - it was obvious the amount of hard work, love, and dedication they put into their home and land every day. This serene property is over 100 acres and encompasses beautiful trails and rolling hills with spectacular views. The yurt was gorgeous and very neat and clean with its own basic amenities like a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, grill, etc. It was the perfect size for us with our kids and dog. The country charm was inherently beautiful, and perfectly complimented the relaxing atmosphere. I can't say enough about how clean the bathrooms and showers were. I was so impressed with how spotless they were maintained. I usually wake up quite a bit at night when I am home, but the very first night we stayed there I slept the entire night and woke up feeling great and well rested! Staying at Andelyn Farm was truly cathartic for all of us. Lyn and Andy are very genuine and kind, which made it so comfortable to talk to them. We felt as if we were part of their family. Thank you so much for everything and we will definitely be back next year!”
