“We had a reception at this location, our second. This time under new management. Staff are very accommodating. Food was as ordered, vegetable lasagne was perfect as an added choice. Service during our event was perfect, absolutely no complaints. There was a minor issue which was addressed by management immediately and a courtesy discount was offered on the room. “First class customer service! Flight delays which ended in an cancellation - I missed my birthday party and was not able to make it home. (After being stuck at JFK for over 10 hours.) However, Simone, who checked me in absolutely turned my night around with her hospitality and graciousness. She went above and beyond to make my short stay at her hotel a memorable experience. I travel extensively, and I simply don’t find that level of customer service anymore. In this case, however, Simone exceeded my expectations exponentially. Many thanks to her and her team! Highly recommend this hotel. Accommodations were great as well. Five stars all the way around!”

“The staff are great and the rooms are always clean and its comfy. You sometimes can see deer and other woodland creatures from your window but don't worry there's a fence so they can't get into your room. There's a woodland area you can walk through back there and see the deer grazing. On the other side of that it's like another time. This lodge has recently been on the last season of the television series of "Ray Donovan" So if you're looking to rest in a good affordable place with good staff come on by!”

“Nice rooms, not a great neighborhood, not near anything special but definitely not a lower end motel. Regular van service from the airport and some of the employees are really great. They have a little snack bar area next to the front desk where you can buy anything from chips and candy bars to beer. They have a restaurant and a bar. There are menus in the room to order pizza or other foods from outside. To get to the city you would need to go back to the airport and then take transportation from there but a lot of guests do that. I actually miss not going there sometimes.”

“My family and I stayed here when we visited New York. The hotel was conveniently located not far from the train station. And a bus stop was right outside. Lots of mom and pops food places and little shops. The hotel was nice. But our floor was soaked the entire time. I'm unsure if they shampooed the carpet or what but it was pretty drenched. Breakfast was available downstairs. Overall I enjoyed the stay besides the wet carpet.”

“Booked this hotel last minute after my flight into JFK got delayed, and I ended up missing my connecting flight. I read the reviews only after booking a room, and to be honest, I was expecting the worst. To my surprise though, the room was actually pretty good. It was comfortable and clean, staff was friendly, and I didn't face any problems. There is some noise at night (the usual traffic and sirens) but you can't really expect silence when staying at a hotel in Queens. There is no free breakfast though (as advertised when booking), so that was a bit of a let down. But overall, a great budget hotel when you need a room for the night on short notice.”

“I am going to start by saying we will go back here. However, I think they were experiencing some problems. When we arrived they had blowers drying out floors in the lobby. Granted they also had some cleaner smell (Fabuloso ?) that you could smell through out the hotel. At first I didn’t mind but when we were in the room on the 3 rd floor we could still smell it very strongly until the middle of the night. Also, be aware this hotel is under construction. Looks like it is half done. That didn’t matter to us because we were not using the hotel for anything but a night to move my son into school. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. All in all a good stay.”
