After calling and speaking with Albert, the owner, he quickly diagnosed the situation and gave me a resolution. I then asked a good friend who has had fish his whole life and everything Albert told me was true. I immediately asked him to come check my commercial 90 gallon salt tank, which he had no objection to and advised me on everything it needs done & tester my water, complimentary! “We have dealt with Whispering Pines roughly 10 years ago and were happy with our fish and water lilies. We decided after the fiasco we went through with getting fish through our county, we decided that we would be better off going back to Whispering Pines. The owners are personable, extremely knowledgeable and definitely cheaper. “Grumpy Combat Vet Review: I called to make sure they had Geckos in stock. The employee from the jump, was friendly, and informative. I’m really bad at remembering names. I didn’t remember it when he gave it over the phone. He answered all my questions, and even respectfully corrected me when I thought I knew what I was talking about. When I arrived at the store he remembered our conversation, gave me a great first time owner recommendations, and made sure I understood how to properly take care of the gecko and have everything ready needed. He didn’t try to make me buy top of the line. I like giving people Kudos when they deserve it, Lucas deserves it. Pet supplies is closer, but I’ll be going to Petco for my gecko needs.”

“We went to pick up a graduation present for my son. He wanted a hamster 🐹. After calling around and visiting a few shops we ended up here at the Valley Stream location. Our salesperson(Courtney) was amazing (5/5). She was knowledgeable, informative, helpful, and made some great recommendations. Walking around the shop, receiving a care lesson all while picking up the essentials that we needed to set up our home was fun 😀. We then met a few of the hamsters. Mommy began to develop some second thoughts 😱 after the first few cages were opened but when we met Chunks(our Long Haired Syrian Hamster) she was totally on board 😁. Courtney transfered Chunks to a temporary carrier then walked him over to the check out counter and gave us a few more tips. We had an awesome experience. Overall the store was pretty clean, well stocked and the staff were friendly. 4 1/2 Stars.”
